"Appreciated but not neccesary, my dear..." the old man told Jade, "...Now I know you've heard such things alike before about opposing humanity, but I ask you this; why do you think we have peace now... why have the humans not acted against us, at least not openly?"

((Let's throw some Ideas for the man! I want to know what everyone thinks about this situation!))

"They fear the unknown...we possess powers most of them would only dream of. We have comrades who can stop these homosapiens weapons in their tracks. They realise this now, and they see that we are a force to be reckoned with." Jade replied, confident but not overly so.

"My dear... you have an understanding that most would kill for, we see eye-to-eye in this matter..." his eyes lingered upon her for a few moments longer, as if taking in more than her appearance before moving on, "How else do they fear us, I ask you..." he queried the crowd, but he seemed to be talking in whole to Jade, "Do you really think that fear has ever kept mankind from removing that which fears them? how long do you think we should wait until they act upon those fears? The real question is; Are YOU going to wait for them?"

"Why should we?" Jade smiled a little as she continued, turning to face the room full of her compatriot mutants, "As far back as written and drawn messages have lingered on this earth, evolution has been the main factor of who survives...and rules." She paused, dramatically. "Now, evolution has taken a step forward...with us."

"Precisely, once again you outdo yourself... Many-a-time I have said that mankind have always feared that which they do not understand, now is no different of a time and we are entirely misunderstood by Homo Sapiens and quite possibly continue to be so. My brothers, why do you not see as I, why let mankind make our laws and say what is right! I say that mutants have their say in such matter, and everytime I have tried to help our own kind the humans have openly attacked us to beat us into obedience!" his tone was growing louder with each syllable, emphasizing each word so that they rang in everyone's ears, who were already hopelessly entranced by his sheer willpower.

"So... Time to decide; Will you sit and wait for them to move first or will you join me and take the initiative that we as a species deserve? There is no pressure for you to join me, but when they come for you just remember the children who you will have to explain to why they're about to be destroyed!" his voice was now a furious shout, it took a while for the crowd to realize the magnitude of what he had said, a slow cheer rose up before it too became a shout, nearly everyone present agreed entirely with this man...

Jade hollared along with the crowd, smiling a little and calmed down briskly. This is what she'd been waiting for, a moment to show her worth.

The cheers still rang throughout the club, the music was resumed and many came forth to pay respects to Magneto, mainly to suck up to him so they could join. Once the smoozing was over, Magneto wanted to find the young woman who had spoken up before... though with the large crowd she was difficult to locate... he hoped she had not gone just yet; it was s rare for him to have a direct connection with someone like that... He stopped dead in his tracks when he encountered Alchemy; she was fuming that he had used her idea of that same club...

Jade had taken a position at the bar, drink in hand and cigarette in the other, she kept a sharp eye on the two as they encountered eachother.
Taking a long drawl of her cigarette, she double inhaled once exhaled and sighed before sipping the liquid in the tumbler.

"So, what made you choose this place to spread your propaganda?" Alchemy blurted out... she was irritated beyond comprehension...
"I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you..."
"OH, stop with the bull*** already! I'm sure you know who I am... I was going to make a speech and you come along right then and take over, there's no chance anyone will listen to me now!" she cut him off, taking him slightly aback.

"Forgive me; I have not a clue as to who you are, my dear... Either way, why don't you join me... I could do with an intellect that you so-obviously possess!" he tried on her, but she wouldn't have an ounce of it, "Don't try that crap on me!" she seemed to get even angrier when he said he didn't know her, "I led the riots in Australia! noone talks me down and I especially don't have any intention of working for an old and power-hungry man such as yourself..." her words were like ice-cold daggers that punctured the ears... Eric had never had a mutant talk to him this way and was momentarily at a loss as what to say...

Jade smirked, shook her head and downed the rest of her beverage. Sliding the tumbler onto the bar and taking a long drawl of her cigarette, she made her way slowly over to the pair. Only finding the need to interject if it was totally necessary.

A few minutes had passed, the two just stared at eachother, Eric realized that she wasn't going to budge and he respected her strong will. "Very well, If that is your opinion then I'm not going to force you!" he told her honestly, "but I will always have a high place for you amoung us!"
"Don't worry, that place will be empty for a while yet!" Ana spat, turning to see that Jade was watching, "Let's get out of here Jade, away from this ignorant old geezer!" she said it loud enough for Eric to hear.

"I think I'll stay for a while." Jade commented slowly, finishing off her cigarette and extinguishing it under her heavy boot.

Alchemy took a step up to her, expression was dark yet almost completely emotionless, "are you buying into his crap? Coz' I don't think you're here for the drinks!"

"You're a revolutionary leader Alchemy...why do you find what Magneto's saying to be so wrong and offensive? If anything you should be agreeing with him." Jade became terse, almost annoyed at Alchemy's attitude.

She had Ana there...
"...Because he... he took over! This man uses mutants as pawns to acheiv his plans and sacrifices them willingly without their concent!"

Magneto walked up behind her and questioned her logic of the situation, "I would never openly put a fellow mutant at risk unless they choose to be, and as far as sacrificing; I would never ask a mutant to do so... many have done such because they believed that it would make a difference!" he made sense, but Alchemy just seemed to get even more frustrated...

Jade nodded and then raised an eyebrow at Alchemy, "You're not the person I thought you were...I'm sorry but my place isn't with you." She took several steps away and leaned against a pillar behind where Magneto now stood.

"You see? it was her choice, not mine..." Eric said kindly, he did not want to make enemies with her, so he kept his tone peaceful.
Alchemy calmed herself, her powers being strongly influenced by her emotions and nobody realized that one of tha coffee tables had begun to melt... she held her hand up and her hood swept back over her dark hair, as well as the lower-face mask which came up out of her robes. She set a glare upon Jade and Eric before turning to the exit, using her power to force anyone out of the way.

"She's quite the moody teenager, isn't she?" Eric chuckled, "And what did you mean by she wasn't the person you thought her to be?"

"I thought she would be a little more stable with her views, I've known leaders before and I have to say she wouldn't be my first choice if we ever went into conflict with the homo-sapiens." Jade replied calmly.

"i think you need to look past that... as she is devout in her opinion, to lead is a task to be beheld; if she led these riots then her words must hold sway over many, her opinions may seem brash and over-stated but I believe that a true leader's heart beats within her... I do wish I could've heard what she wished to say had I not 'stolen the scene' if I'm stating the slang correctly..."
