"If you would have allowed me to help her I might've been able to do something... holding her in the shield does nothing but waste the time she has with such injuries!"

Noah looked down at the ground, the darkness stopped bursting, and the field disappeared, his eyes returning to normal, he knew the rapid out burst were getting more intense, he just hoped they weren't the reason Bel can't be saved...

Jade kept her distance regardless of the fact that the little voices in her head where urging her to help the fallen mutant and the wounded homosapiens.

"Help them my X-men,help them.Heal them."*Professor Xavier said.*

*Storm lays in the medical lab wanting to get up but Professor Xavier refuse's to allow her until one of the doctor's have given the go ahead.

Noah looked down at the ground, the darkness stopped bursting, and the field disappeared, his eyes returning to normal, he knew the rapid out burst were getting more intense, he just hoped they weren't the reason Bel can't be saved...

Eric moved in on Bel, now the field was lifted he could tend to her injuries... She seemed to be having difficulty breathing and checking her heartrate against did not show much hope...
"She has been wounded internally and one lung has been crushed by a puncture..." as he said this, she began to spasm and claw blindly around her, issuing horrible gurgling noises, "...I am sorry Arcane, she is choking on her own blood... There is nothing I can do for her, she cannot be saved even with immediate medical intervention and there is no way I would be able to take her anywhere that's frinedly to mutants in time..."

Bel twitched to the side and her dilated eyes honed in on Arcane as she tried for the last time to breath before her eyes glazed over and she moved no more... Magneto whispered something in latin and closed her eyelids, sending her in peace to the next life...

((Touching no? 😛 ))

Jade stayed rooted to the spot, her head bowed slightly. Still dirty and tense from the previous attack made by Ana, she sighed, there was a deep sorrow in her heart for the young mutant as his friend died on the street. This is the last thing she really needed to see today, a lone cold tear streaked her face and she wiped it clear hoping that no one saw it.

Only Eric noticed Jade's tear, though looked away to keep her pride...
"Forgive me if I may sound heartless Arcane... As a friend of the deceased I give you the choice of how we should pay our last respects as I have little time for anything fancy... I am sorry but my plans must not be delayed for anylonger than it takes to send her on her way; I think you came in search of me so if you wish to accompany me to Alkaly Lake then I will allow you the time to say goodbye in a respectable manner. If were up to me I would say cremation would best suit everyone." his tone was low as he took Bel into his arms, gladly taking the burden of carrying her lifeless form.

Jade kept silent, looking to the young mutant. It was his decision in the end and she would respect it along with Magneto, the little voice in the back of her head begged her to get out of here...the strain was beginning to take its toll and she didn't know how long she'd last before snapping...she'd had one hell of a week.

((Sorry arcane, but we have to move things along... Ivory's getting impatient 😛))

Eric decided that he'd hand Arcane his friend, he didn't seem to be able to speak or even respond, it was obvious he was frozen with grief... Magneto knew that he would be able to pull himself together, but it might take time...
"When you are ready, I will meet you at Alkaly Lake... you have five days until we return..." Eric signalled for his small band of mutants to follow him; besides for Jade there were about six others, all of whom with at least class three powers...

Jade continued down the road after Magneto, banding together with the small contingent of mutants she tried her hardest to regulate her breathing. But her head was swimming, she was slowly loosing her strength from the over-exertion from earlier on.

"Now, how to get to Alkaly Lake, we haven't much time... Charles wouldn't trust me with his so-called 'X-jet' so I think we need..." Eric stopped to think, meaning talking to himself... One of the mutants in their group caught his attention with a raised hand, a girl who appeared in her late teens.

"Umm, s-sir... I could help; I can teleport groups of people long distances... is that what you need?" she seemed to be a little shy to speak directly, needless to say Eric couldn't refuse such an opportunity, "What are the chances that one of my party would be able to do exactly what I needed... Tell me your name, my dear."

"Uhh, b-Blink, sir..." she spoke up, or at least tried to.
"Well Blink, do you know where we need to go?"
"Actually I studied geography at school, I could get us there!" she lit up when she realized that Eric appreciated her assistance.

((Sorry I didn't put more detail into it, I wanted to get there quickly and this seemed to work...))

Jade nodded to the young woman, "Less talk, more teleporting then." She smiled, the smile strained her features but it was a smile none the less. The sooner she got away from here the better.

Blink looked at Jade uncertainly, more of a 'Not really appreciated' kind of expression... Nevertheless, she closed her eyes and pictured were they currently where in reference to their intended destination... she outstretched her hands clasped together and when she parted them a bright pinkish-hued portal tore into the air, the sound of rushing wind tore at the area and grew more intense when she finished, the entrance nearly seven feet in diameter. Blink opened her eyes and gestured for everyone to go through, but when they hesitated, including Eric, she dove in first to boost their courage...

Jade followed the young mutant and genuinely smiled once she'd stepped through the portal. It was cold...but it was where they needed to be.

An understatement of cold; flakes of snow fell from the sky and acumulated underfoot, the great lake, now divided by the ruins of the Alkaly Lake dam sat at even levels on either side, just the very cap of the water frozen solid so that if walked upon, one would most surely fall through.
"Behold, the site from one of my former campaigns against humanity, quite possibly the closest I ever came to success when not including our victory at Alcatraz!" he stated fondly, he rather did enjoy the outcome here, and that he ensured that Stryker wouldn't live past the collapse of the dam.

"Now come... There is much to be done!" without further ado, he set off on foot towards the main entrance to the facility; the spillway...

Jade followed Magneto without a single word, she'd never been a fan of the cold and drew her jacket around her tightly, her breath frosting as she exhaled with every moment that went by.
Her shoulders tensed, she surveyed the surroundings. It's not that she was nervous, she just hated not knowing where she was.

Eric was quite comfortable in his formal attire, but many of the younger generations with him regretted wearing shorts and the like, he hid a chuckle as they complained the entire way...
It took about fifty minutes for them to cross to the spillway, then another twenty to go all the way up to the main doors, which were locked; Eric hadn't accounted for them to be sealed after what he had heard about the raids here. Fortunately, there was another side-door, though located about twenty feet up, Magento found no difficulty getting up to the control panel to access the main structure.
"Main power is offline, you'll have to come up this way... If I remember correctly, the X-Men shut the power down to deactivate the automated defenses when they returned here after my failed attack on humanity!"

He played around with the controls for a moment before the doors auto-seal released, without main power they would have to be manually slid open; as they were all metal they offered no challenge.
He pulled them open carefully as blink teleported the parts of the group unable to get to his location...

Jade followed Magneto through the doors and then stepped fully onto the harsh cold metal, she looked around, surveying her surroundings once more. In the back of her mind, she wondered what was going to happen next.

The next room had three different pasage and a primary uplink server screen; exactly what they needed right now...

There was a strange smell in the air...

Eric checked the dowed machine and found it to activate without assitance, meaning the secondary generators were online meaning they could turn the lights on. With a few minutes running through files and network commands thanks to his 'coniscated' identification he used to enter last time, the lights to the complex came on without a challenge.

"As I thought, secondary power is on though it will keep only the life support and lights operational, I need someone to go and activate the main generators whilst I find the command blister...

Jade nodded, "Tell me where they are and I'll do it." She spoke up for the first time since they'd left America.
