There are some, however, who believe that everything in life is made up of "Relative Truths." and truth is dependant upon an individual's circumstances/views.Those of you who believe in "Relative Truths." Please provide for me an explanation..as to how the mathmetical equation.
2 + 2 = 4Prove to me that 2+2 does not = 4
Ok..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Plus - ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pls)
conj.
And
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We do not say "Plus the bad weather, the construction slowdown has made for a weak market." It makes more sense to view plus in these uses as a conjunction that joins two subjects into a single entity requiring a single verb by notional agreement, just as "and" does in the sentence. "Chips and beans is her favorite appetizer".
Therefore, I can write, 2 +(and) 2 = 22. Or { 22 = 2 and(+) 2 }
And that's how 2+2 does not = 4 but 22 because as you said, "Relative Truth." is dependant upon an individual's circumstances/views." This is my view. This was the alternate circumstance I chose to prove to you that 2+2 does not =4.

Relative..absolute...2+2=4...2+2 does not equal 4.....prove it does...prove it doesn't.....is this a funky thread or what?
If your really not sure what 2+2 is....just ask a pre-schooler.....they don't try to make it complicated...they will just give you the answer, straight and direct.
Exactly.
Beware the Demon of Overthink.

Sure there is, many-pre schoolers actually understand the arithmatic involved with 2 + 2, they are not just memorizing it.
It's really quite a simple concept, and does not require deep thought or hours of analizing.
Sometimes a simple concept can be overanalized.
On the other hand, it one does not find that 2 + 2 a simple concept, whether we are talking pos, neg or dec or any other kind of numbers, well then...what more can I say.

So do you think that truth is absolute or relative?

But outside of that system, would it still be absolute truth?
It can't be outside the system...obviously in a system that has as axiom that 2+2=0 it is not a truth. But it doesn't claim that, so everything that is claimed by it is that "in the system we call "mathematics" (which is comparable to a language in some ways) itself (2+2) equals 4"...that is a fact, an absolute Truth...no argueing about that.
