Akito IS a girl... ive read up 2 volume 17 (i skipped a couple of volumes tho cuz i wuz in a rush 2 read em)
Kagura only "loved" Kyou bcuz she felt srry for him...
i dont think dat Ayame is gay...i thnk he was just messin around LOL
oh yea and part of the reason y Akito is so mean... is bcuz she wuz abused

the reason none of this (including Akito being a girl) was included in the anime was becuz it wasnt finished!! hopefully there will a 2nd season (ive heard that there will be)
it wuz canceled in japan mainly bcuz shojo (girl) anime isnt popular as boys anime... but do 2 the popularity elsewhere i think there will be a 2nd season...hopefully!

oh yea n i 4got to mention.... Shigure has feelings for Akito and Akito has feelings for him!!

To add another spoiler (scanned through and didn't see this one)

In chapter 115, or around there, it turns out Momiji's curse has been broken. That now makes 2 member of the Juunishi curse free. It also seems to sadden him because he feels his bond with everyone is now gone. I just love Momiji.
From what I could tell it hasn't been revealed how it was broken.

Also there is a lot of speculation about Ayame's sexual preference, understandably so, but belive it or not he is not gay and he is indeed in a relationship with Mine, Yuki will eventually ask him about it and Ayame tells him how the relationship developed, but doesn't reveal if she knows about the curse (I mean she must though right?)

I can't recall if there is anything between them, but she certainly is interested in him, that much I remember. And it freaks Kyou out! lol!

I found out a rumour-A rumour that Fruits Basket will go up to 22 books. Well that means about ten more to translate for the english version of it!

I'm not sure if this is a 100% true but I've heard a rumour that someone from the zodiac is murdered by Akito and another member of the zodiac breaks the curse.

We dont know for sure if he's dead!!! Akito stabbed Kureno! Hiro is released from da curse!! And I think Tohru is finally going to tell Kyou she loves him!!! I hope Kureno doesnt die!! 🙁 im hopin he doesnt... theres a scene when Uo is @ work and she finds a dead bird (ironic huh?) and she comments that maybe hes not dead and just ran out of energy... i really hope Kureno doesnt die! Then at the end of the chapter Akito is freakin out and says something about her being the outcast... then she says NO blank is the outcast.... at the end there is a pic of sum1 w/ long hair but we dont know for sure who it is...it looks like Aya... some ppl say it looks like Tohru and that the reason why Kyou has a sad look towards Tohru is bcuz Akito is behind her w/ the knife she had... but i dont think so cuz if that were the case he wouldnt have a sad look, he would have more of a shocked look on his face

Oh I'm hopping Kureno doesn't die!!! He's like one of my favourite characters alon with Arisa!!! I hate it, most of the anime characters that become my favourite die: Chidori & Shuro(Ceres), Nuriko(Fushigi Yuugi), Kagura (Inuyasha manga). That is why I'm really hopping Kureno doesn't die!!!!

Having just seen all the anime shows, where am I in the manga series? I heard that they are practicaly the same....

I'd say your mostly around volume 8 of the mangas, I'd say they are. I haven't bought the anime yet but I plan too.

I hear that some of them have been cured... I'm unlikely to get the mangas.. If you know of any good spoiler sites I would like to read as I feel I am beeing robbed of an ending in the anime!!

Theres a reason why she is like that....no not yet @least, she loves Kyou... there are alot of sites w/ spoilers but i suggest you start reading the manga, Its better to read it for yourself. I only read spoilers for chapters that havent been dubbed yet just to hold me up until it is released in the US.

ummm back to chapter 118!! I guess i didnt really explain things really good ... so ill try again 😄 lol

Akito was freakin out on her mom and so Kureno hugged her and tried to calm her down, at that moment Hiro was free from the curse and thinks about when every1 will leave her and so she starts yelling out that its Kureno's fault and stabs him 🙁 Akito runs away (w/ the knife still in her hand) and Kureno tries to go after her, but collapses.
Theres a scene where Uo's boss finds a dead bird outside the shop and her tells Uo she should clean it up... but, Uo wonders whether the bird just ran out of energy
BACK TO AKITO!! She continues down the road (holding da knife)... She yells that Kureno is the one to blame, but think baq when Kureno was there to help her suffering after she had a nightmare. Then there is a memory of Yuki telling her that nothin will ever change unless she takes responsibility for her actions (thats right!) So she gets PMS mad n she starts swinging the knife around. She yells that if its her 2 blame, is it also, her fault 4 bein an outcast? She then sees in her thoughts, all of da member of da zodiac havin fun w/out her. Then she imagines Tohru's back (i thnk). Suddenly remembering the true outcast, and continues to run.
Now were @ Shigure's crib Kyou says, "Im done eatin" Tohru replies cheerfully, "Oh, OK!" Kyou gets up from the table, and says, "Im goin out 4 a bit." Lookin up @ him, Tohru gets a sad look on her face. She looks back down, somewhat blushin, n den closes her eyes, lookin as though she were making a decision. She decides. She gets up from the table, "Kyou-kun... umm... I want to go out too. Could we please talk?" Kyou stops, and Tohru continues looking at his back. (this is basically a summary based on a bunch of sites, but it is reliable)

The anime is really good!!! They do go along w/ the manga (as best as possible) they do leave some stuff out too but its understandable since it wasnt ment to run that long... the reason it was created (or so ive read) was becuz Natsuki Takaya got into a car accident and broke her arm, bcuz of this she couldnt draw for a while, and so dey created the anime as an effort to promote the manga (like almost all anime)

its a shame really... I like watching anime... but I don't like reading manga too much....

im 2 lazy 2 read rofl im prayin that they make an OVA for it when the manga is finishished (only like 3 more 2 go in Japan!) but ino thats unrealistic crybaby
