OK, I will say this one more time to you people out there in the world.
Akito is a guy, not a girl. In the manga/Anime Shigure went to visit Akito in the 2nd episode and told Tooru that "Akito has decided, as long as you keep the secret, he will let you stay." Noticed Shigure said HE.
Not she, it, they, them, or their.
Even though he looks girlish, don't mistake him for being a girl. Almost all the souma's look girlish, but that just means they are actually pretty.

AKITO IS A GIRL! STOP POSTING THE SAME THING! How far have you read in the manga? I've seen the pages and a hundred different sites say so. In the anime he is a boy but in the manga she is a girl! Shigure loves Akito, but Akito slept with Kureno(Rooster) and Shigure was jealous so he went and slept with her mother Ren. Who by the way decided to raise Akito up as a boy. So far Shigure, Ayame, Hatori and Kureno know about it, because they are old enough to remember but they aren't allowed or supposed to tell anyone about it. You obviously haven't read all the manga.
Oh and another thing-someomne else other than Kureno broke the curse. If I knew how to do spoiler things I'd write it down.
Well it seems that Yuki and Tohru are about to go out together but Akito tells Yuki that he only loves Tohru as a mother figurew and Yuki found this to be true and began showing an interest in Machi before he satoppeds trying to get tohru. Machi is in first year and is a treasurer on the school council.

AKITO AND SHIGURE😮k when shigure had that dream of a baby girl being born when he was little. akito and shigure use to be lovers until kureno broke the curse some how and she didnt want him to go so she beg kureno to stay. they slept together and shigure got jealous so he slept with akito's mother, Ren. That is how shigure was already out of the house before the manga really started. Akito kicked him out.
KYO AND TOHRU: everybody says tohru should be with yuki well as the manga is getting more darker and more secrets are revealed. it shows that tohru has growing feelings for kyo. i think in the cinderalla play that tohru accidently spilled her feeling a little and kyo is trying to figure that out.

akito is a girl. Shigure liked her a long time ago and eventually shigure slept with her. Why she dresses as a guy i dont know. Ayame and shigure arent gay at all ayame admits to the fact that he likes mine in chapter 110. Ayame and shigure only act gay just to mess around with people. Rin is the horse. Kureno is the rooster but he is no longer cursed and he himself doesnt know how he broke the curse. Shigure used tohru at the very beginning using her as a foil for akito but didnt realize she was trying to break the curse too. Kureno likes akito as well and has slept with her too. Yuki is the hat boy seen in all the pictures with tohru as children but it was kyo's hat he gave her. Kyo had met kyoko a long time ago before she died. The reason why tohru is soo polite is as her grandpa said "She does it so her mother will like her" you see after tohru's mom died her mom tried to commit suicide and neglected tohru, so tohru decided to act more like her father so her mom would pay attention to her. After seeing a mother and a daughter in a park kyoko remembered tohru and didnt commit suicide. This was a story that kyoko herself told kyo. Rin the horse likes haru the cow. Kyo admits to himself that he is in love with tohru. Yuki likes this girl named Machi from the student counsel.
kyou was the reason tohru's mom died. she was driving and he ran out in the road and she swerved to avoid him and crashed and died. thats why the first time kyou went with tohru to her mom's grave when they got back and she was sleeping on the porch he said he was sorry. you dont find out til later but it explains that. kind of.
