A little bit more is revealed about Kyoko's and Kyou's relationship and y he feels he "killed" Kyoko..... apparently Kyou thought he DID have the chance to save Kyoko from death, but if he had tried, then he would have had to risk revealing his curse. He hates himself, thinking that he would put his curse before saving somebody he cared about. This is where all of his guilt about Tohru is coming from....

well you guys it turns out that Kureno nd Akito arent in this chapter....its basically just Kyou+Tohru then Kyou+Kyoko.... *sigh* i guess Takaya wants to keep every1 in suspense 😕 crycrybabycrybaby

The reason I bringing this up is because as you kno (those who read the manga) after vol 12 is released this december, vol 13 wont be released til APRIL!!!! (Probibly so we wont catch up 2 Japan i guess) Now, in the February edition they will feature the 1st chapter of vol 13 (38 pages)!! CHAPTER 119 SUMMARY!
Okay we pick up when Tohru is about to Kyo how she feels about him...but b4 she can even say anythin he asks her if she loves him, Tohru just blushes. Kyo say are u stupid? i didnt think u were that stupid! (aww poor Tohru 🙁) Kyou goes outside n Tohru goes after him barefoot.
Then...Kyou tells Tohru wut he didnt want her 2 kno.....about Kyoko...
It turns out that Kyou met Kyoko near his house w/ Shishou (his adopted father). He didnt feel comfortable goin directly home after school... so he just wondered around for a while, and then he met Kyoko, who worked nearby the house.
The day Tohru was lost, Kyoko was very upset, cryin n all, Kyo tried to comfort her, he told her to pull herself 2gether and that hed find her and protect her, and its "A man's promise!!" Even though Kyo tried his hardest to find her, it was Yuki who found her and brought her back home... [if you remember the whole red hat incident yeaa..]
When Tohru was back w/ her mom, Kyoko had the red hat in her hand, once Kyo saw the hat, he knew Yuki had saved her. Kyo says some hateful thing about Yuki and how he hates him, the guy who saved Tohru. Kyoko tells him that it's a shame for a nice boy to dwell on right and wrong. Kyo get angry and asks if she's going to take Yuki's side now. Kyo turns and runs off. As Kyoko watches him run off, she yells that he has to keep his promise.
He never saw Kyoko again until the day of the accident. The reason why he feels he "killed" Kyoko, isnt bcuz he was the cause of the accident, but bcuz he couldve saved her, he didnt bcuz he would transform. [Kyoko was run over, Kyo saw the car commin @ her @ highspeed]
Kyo continues to confess that hed put "himself" and her mom's "life" on a scale and chose "himself" over her life. He says that he hate being like that, runnin away from everythin. At the end of the chapter we see both cryin, but we dont really kno what Tohru's reaction is...
END OF CHAPTER 119!
OK here are my thoughts on chapter 119, Im proud of Kyou!!! Finally! He didnt run away!!!!! But still, im mad @ him cuz he didnt tell Tohru how he felt about her or didnt let her confess...grrr I cant wait for the next chapter!!!
Note* This december Takaya n her staff will be on vacation, so there will be no more new chapters released until January i thnk. crybaby So for 1 month+ we wont kno if Kureno died or not, or where Akito is headin too....well Christmas is not that far so it wont that much on my mind.
For those that didnt kno, Each month a magazine called Hana to Yume release two chapters of Fruits Basket (bi-monthly)
Oh yea...and since chapter 119 is done...that means vol. 20 is finished...only two more volumes left!! (in japan ofcourse)
