were you playing with 2 people on baldurs gate? without another person i could see how that game could get boring, it was great with 2 though. the old school one on the cpu was an rpg so yeah they took taht premise, i thought it was ultimately more of an action game though.
did you have that shit on easy because going through a hundread of anything in that game is like a 2 hour job. i havent gotten to the bugs yet but thats what those ninjas took me, and i died a shitload of times.
i dont use the sword, the lunar is easier and less frustrating. i use the counter and bunch of moves with the lunar, the jumping one and a bunch of combos. the nunchakus are actually pretty easy to use too, i dont mind those.
if i use the sword one of them'll hit me in the back while im attacking another one where as when im using the lunar im just goin so fast it doesnt matter.

and if you like mario games i heard all of them were really good...but i dont play them..but those make a gamecube worth buying..especially when you can get the package that comes with mario party 7 and an extra controller for only $100 now. When Wind Waker came out you could get Ocarina of Time for free if you pre-ordered it. Don't know if Ocarina or Majora's Mask is selling on the Cube but if they are, get both.
Windwaker is very good. My only complaint is through the first third of the game you have to sail on a boat from island to island without any thing to do. And sailing from one place to another usually took at least a few minutes. That shouldn't stop you from buying the game though, as you get a teleportation thingy that let's go to most of the main parts.
If you do get a Gamecube, get Resident Evil 4. One of the greatest games ever IMO, and the best game on the cube.

ocarina of time is one of my favourite games, there werent any games that had anything on it when it came out. i borrowed my friends cube to beat re4 cuz i liked it so much, thats a great game.
when i get tired of my xbox ill pick up a gamecube, that might be awhile tho becuase im getting it modded. 🙂
i dont know why i "grew" out of rpgs, i just dont have fun playing them anymore. i stopped playing videogames for a long time and when i went back to them i didnt enjoy doing all the shit thats involved in rpgs. i dont find it fun anymore to sit in my room by myself building up levels in some characters i dont really care about. id rather buy a game where i can cap my friends.
i liked jade empire, that was a dope game. i had some fun with that, i guess you could call it the exception to the rule. first decent one ive played since the psone days.
