debbiejo is right. Another thing is that God would want you to be strong. By this I mean He wants you to develop independence--the ability to stand on your own. Humans learn to stand on their own physically and even intellectually, but when it comes to emotions, that is our weak spot. We tend to depend on other people to decide how we will feel at that moment. By being "needy" you are saying that you are emotionally weak--that you let your emotions get the best of you. Yet a "needy" person does not want a "needy" person--they want someone who is emotionally secure. God wants both people to be emotionally secure in order for the relationship to work.

God answers every prayer, He is never ignoring us. His answers are yes or no whether you like it or not that is how it is.

I see prayer as a personal moment between man and god. An attempt to communicate with your spiritual source. God should not be alerted to the needs of people, or begged, coaxed and pleaded with. What sort of god would only condescend to interfere if and when enough people asked hard enough...

It is how hard you asked, it is why you ask, and how you have been, and if you really mean it or not.

I feel I'm always speaking to god. It's a mental thing that goes on through the day...Not the begging thing, but more a thankful and what could I do thing.

If you believe in such an entity IT would already know your requests even before you ask.

Here's a thought... Maybe praying is just talking with your hands claped and your eyes closed. I mean... No you see that's what makes God so great. Knowing that he still wants to talk to you and get to know you. Heck, he gave his one and only son for you. What I am saying is, you have to accept the answer on his time, and the answer that best fits his will.

He does speak to us, through small and simple means, that we are usually to busy to notice, it is not that God ignores us, it is that we ignore him

I think you are on the right track and I agree with you. We often times can not hear the small quiet voice. However, God is not a "him". 😄
