Ok i understand he don't want to hear our bickering but thats easy to say if you are a freaking GOD with power beyond POWER and ruler of the COSMOS.

But what I don't understand is why he doesn't talk to us. We speak to him and go hey, did you watch the football game the other day God, it was great....God says nothing back 🙁

Why ?

Do you mean the bible god? He is just a figment of some peoples imagination. It makes them feel better. Kind of like Santa.

God sent his son to let us know. What we have to do is wait, even after death.

Do you believe in killing your children for god? That is what god did for you.

God or what I would refer to as god, doesn't ignore us........We just don't listen....

God doesn't listen to anyone, because God has no personal connection with us. We are solely the makers of our lives. Make an island of yourself, take refuge in yourself. Be at peace and remember you are wise deep inside.

You are wise deep inside because we are all part of what is eternal and fragments of what the intelligence is...

We shouldn’t treat prayer like a magic formula. We don’t have to say certain things to get God to do something. Prayer is simply talking with God. All you have to do is tell God what your concerns are and ask Him for help. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” If you want an example of a prayer, read Matthew 6:9-13. This passage is known as the Lord’s prayer. This is not a prayer we are to memorize and recite to God. It is an example of the things that should go into a prayer – worship, trust in God, requests, confession, protection, etc. Pray for these things, but use your own heartfelt words.

God answers every prayer that is lifted to Him. What we have to remember is that sometimes God answers "no" or "wait." GOD ONLY PROMISIS TO GRANT OUR PRAYERS WHEN WE ASK ACCORDING TO HIS WILL. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him.”
_
What does it mean to ask according to God’s will? Praying according to God’s will is praying for things that honor and glorify God and/or praying for things the Bible clearly reveals it is God’s will for us to have. If we pray for something that is not honoring to God or not God’s will for our lives, God will not give what we ask for. How can we know what God’s will is? God promises to give us wisdom when we ask for it. James 1:5 proclaims, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

And remember, prayer MUST be heart felt and sincere! It is not a "go with the motions" type of thing. God knows when you lack faith in Him. You are only fooling yourself.

I view prayer as a kind of connection. By making a connection, it will pretty much give you what you dwell on more then half of the time...But for me I'm in a state of thankfulness and awe of everything....By listening instead of speaking, I find I get more answers. And it comes in many forms also. Besides what I would call god and what scripture calls god, says god knows what you ask even before you ask it. So no need for repetition kinds of prayers...

Repeated prayer? That is a personal choice, but for the most part you are right debbiejo. Praying for something repeatedly, however, is not necessarily a bad thing. Go for it (ha ha ha)!

Luke 18:1-7 declares, “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.' For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?”

Luke 11:5-13 proclaims, “Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.' Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.' I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs. "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

There is nothing wrong with repeatedly asking for the same thing. As long as it is within the will of God (1 John 5:14-15), keep asking until God grants your request or removes the desire from your heart. Sometimes God forces us to wait for an answer to our prayers in order to teach us patience and perseverance. Sometimes what are asking for something when it is not yet in God's timing for our lives. Sometimes we are asking for something that is not God's will for us, and He is saying no. Prayer is not only us presenting our requests to God, it is God presenting His will to our hearts.

He is always listening everything is part of his plan, so we just have to listen carefully and not get mad if he doesn't answer right away. The prayer has to be important too. It can't just be about football games on t.v. or something.

So USHOMEFREE, should we be begging or not?...If god is omnipresent, all encompassing god should already know........

Excellent question debbiejo! It was fair and honest. Quick answer: God transcends the length, width, space, and time dimensions that govern and restrict us humans beings. God is outside the box so to speak, and knows our inner most thoughts. God is looking for the elite; people who (on their own accord) reach out to Him in faith and understanding. Having free will and doing so is a beautiful thing! Forcing someone to love you only ends in tragedy. It is selfish, and cannot be done without dishonoring our free will. God is holy and bigger than such nonsense. Prayer is an expression of faith towards God. God knows your wants and needs, but you must ask of Him in faith. And remember... prayer must be according to His will. We need not beg. If details on the issue are dubious, and still unclear; just ask me and I will respond when I have the time. Why would something we say is perfect throw imperfecting creatures in a hell..........That is not a god at all.....That is man tampering with what they would call god....a god with human personalities.....A god would not have such imperfect like conditions.

The end part of your post i think your mistaken on. God doesn't throw imperfect creatures into hell he throws those who have not accepted him in hell. What I dont think we get as human beings is that God cannot except sin, nor can he sin. What this means is God gives a choice; he says we can except him, and believe he is God or we can not believe, and go to Hell which I belive is real. The reason I believe in Hell is, because I believe in God. God cast Lucifer into the pits of hell because lucifer rose against him. Lucifer, and his followers had to go somewhere so God gave them hell. We have a choose of if we want to go to heaven or not, so we cant say God throes imperfect people into hell.

^ We have a choice if we want to go to heaven or not? What about the people who never heard?

debbiejo... another great question! It is honest and fair.

All people are accountable to God whether they have “heard about Him” or not. The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). Apart from God's grace, God would give us over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. This He does for those who reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).

In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle: everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

The problem is, “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in their own heart, and instead decide to worship a “god” of their own creation. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell who never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Christ. People are responsible to God for what God has already revealed to them. The Bible says that people reject this knowledge, and therefore God is just in condemning them to hell.

Instead of debating the fate of those who have never heard, we, as Christians, should be doing our best to make sure that they hear. We are called to spread the Gospel throughout the nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). The fact that we know people reject the knowledge of God revealed in nature must motivate us to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only through accepting the Gospel of God’s grace through the Lord Jesus Christ can people be saved from their sins and rescued from an eternity apart from God in hell.

If we assume that those who never hear the Gospel are granted mercy from God, we will run into a terrible problem. If people who never hear the Gospel are saved…we should make sure that no one ever hears the Gospel. The worst thing we could do would be share the Gospel with a person and have him or her reject it. If that were to happen, he or she would be condemned. People who do not hear the Gospel must be condemned, or else there is no motive for evangelism. Why run the risk of people possibly rejecting the Gospel and condemning themselves – when they were previously saved because they had never heard the Gospel?

Now debbiejo, someone will read the portion of my message you quoted and take it totally out of context. That is not fair. Don't be vicious and swell-headed. Be respectful please. Be fair and balanced.

😂 😂 I'm not vicious.....Just having fun, but there are people who have never ever heard, and I cannot believe they would be in hell. I wouldn't want to be in heaven with a god that would do so to innocents.
