Yeah. Fraction current portrayal in general. Jake and I kinda disagreed about it as I don't see a huge problem with him going for broke vs worthy hulk and Thing. Not really surfer either for that matter given the circumstances. Straight invading asgard? And Thor wouldn't be uber pissed?
Yeah, I've said my piece more than once. The way he has Thor speak is extremely drastic in comparison to like every other portrayal. Thor's also extremely violent and relishes combat a bit too much. It's closer to the mindset I imagine Thor had thousands of years ago. Not the current modern age Thor. It stands out in particular because since his rebirth 4 years ago, he's been very level headed and felt a bit wiser. I would have preferred a JMS/Gillen type take but I've learned to put up with it Fraction's Thor.
In regards to Surfer, Thor before Fraction would have most likely tried to reason with him and talk him out of invading instead of attacking him non stop. To be fair though, Fraction does put Thor in some drastic situations. Probably my biggest issue is how comfortable Thor feels with what he does.
True he has killed before and will put some down if he has to but Thor killing Ben should have been a huge moment. Not something that we just pass along. But like I said, Fractions Thor has in been one crisis after another.
After Siege it was World Eaters to the Galactus Seed to Fear Itself. Thor has gone from one huge battle to another like literally non stop for almost two years.
The next arc should be Thor chilling just on a beach for 5 issues.

Wasn't it discussed somewhere that the appearance of the serpent is causing the Asgardians to become aggressive and more war like or some such? I remember reading that for some reason.
Thor behavior, I'm sure a average fan wouldn't notice the differences.

Hey Rage, did you just brought all the comics to read today for the Fear event?
I'm buddies with the owner of my local comic shop, so he sets aside comics he knew I'd be interested in. I have this large box that I'm slowly going through, I'm exhausted just came back from Mexico. When I find something interesting, I dl the issue and post a scan.

Yep. Too long.I don't really mind Bendis in Avengers, but its been so long that other writers feel like a breath of fresh air.
@Bbrem: Nice sig!
I guess I forgot about Bendis because I really don't see him as having had one of the great Avengers runs. I'm almost apathetic towards him, which in someways is worse then either loving him or hating him.
