I guess I forgot about Bendis because I really don't see him as having had one of the great Avengers runs. I'm almost apathetic towards him, which in someways is worse then either loving him or hating him.

Yep, Pak is more of a love it or hate it writer on Hulk. He did one of the classic Hulk stories ever (Planet Hulk), so his run is going to be epic.

And talking about epic, Brubaker has been several years on Cap too.

Exactly. Planet Hulk will stand tall for years to come as Pak's Magnum Opus. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it stands behind Annihilation as the second best event type storyline that Marvel has put out of late. What did Pak in is probably what ultimately did Abnett and Lanning in. Planet Hulk -like Annihilation- was lightning in a bottle. You could give Pak 10 years with nothing to do except write, and he'd still never replicate Planet Hulk.

Ditto on Brubaker's Cap. Ed's tentacles are all over everything so I forget about him writing Cap.

You didn't say they did it, but just to clarify, A&L didn't write Annihilation, it was Giffen.

Edit: Also, A&L aren't at their best when writing events imo.

I agree there, A&L were by far better at writing the actual Guardians and Nova ongoings than the huge cosmic events.

Any new scans about Juggernaut?

Bendis needs to writer better consistent stories, the artists that worked with him on Siege and Avengers series need a better writer.

It was nice to see some exploration of the worthy and not just the body they're inhabiting.

It'll be interesting to see their origin. Were they originally Asgardians that defected with the Serpent or something else? Based on Absorbing Man's comment, they predate man so they couldn't be human followers.

Planet Hulk was great the cast, environment ,emotion some of the best Hulk I have red PAD is still number one in my book but PAK put in some work.World War Hulk was IMO such a waste of such a good premise the point I keep coming back to where the war-bound and Hulk talking about how they had planned and strategist about their attack you know what 90% of that event was Hulk punching the shit out of everyone he ran into I mean it worked and all but was looking for something abit more. The last part of his trilogy World War Hulks that shit was so disjointed and hard to understand I don't even know if I liked it or not.

Bendis with Avengers?

Ugh. I feel sick thinking about how long he's been involved with the franchise.

whoa whoa, I take a short break from hulk comics and now hulk is wrecking the dark dimension? OMG, pak really outdid himself with that one.

Carver's estimation of Hulk was Sky-father or close to it before this arc really got going hence my hence my surprise at his restrained estimate I was looking for abstract with those scans.

The only person who has had any success in putting down Hulk recently was Zeus so Sky-father and up may not be so far off.Considering Hulk seems more power here.

Though the Skyfather only used his strength and durability? (amped imho)

To his credit, the popularity of the franchise came pretty much with his writing. It may be just the fact he introduced Spidey and Wolverine into the mix, but we will never find out...

Most people don't think that Zeus amped himself, I do. So pro-Hulk. And what other exoting powers did Zeus use when he beat Hulk?

It was obvious Zeus amped his physical stats when he fought Hulk nothing surprising there but to say Hulk is low skyfather...maybe trans

facepalm

Hate to be a wet blanket here, but wasn't it the combined power of Hulk and and equally powerful Betty that caused that destruction?
