Hate to be a wet blanket here, but wasn't it the combined power of Hulk and and equally powerful Betty that caused that destruction?

Oh your not that has been ignored pretty much completely barring a few people its a shared feat.

It's only a shared feat if you aren't a gammalover 😬

You didn't say they did it, but just to clarify, A&L didn't write Annihilation, it was Giffen.

Edit: Also, A&L aren't at their best when writing events imo.

You're right. Well sort if. They did write Annihilation: Nova which sort of set the tone and pace for the main mini. But yeah, Annihilation was a collaborative effort between Andy Shmidt, Keith Giffen, DnA and a few others. I firmly believe that had Andy remained as editor over the marvel cosmic books they'd still be here today. He knew cosmic.

yeah, kind of, i think. and it was also stated that betty was his EQUAL in power now....

i like the arc. i like the power hulk showed. but man, the whole wishing well thing, and just what was really happening is pretty damn confusing....

Was betty amped by the wishing well? If not I think it's retarded that she is equal in power tbh.

it was a mid-air collision that destroyed the planet, so the destruction was collateral

nobody pointed that out either, i guess it was supposed to be undertood

To hell with Hulk, Pak and the wishing well.

Pretty much. But Pak did it right though. He didn't have Hulk beat people he wasn't supposed to beat -skyfathers etc- but he still managed to satisfy the hard core Hulk fans and even gained the respect of a few Hulk haters.

I'll always respect him for daring to take on the challenge of taking a character to his extreme, and living with the results of the fans reaction good, bad or indifferent. At the end of the day he told the story that he wanted to tell, and still had the same impact. People as of this moment are coming away saying Hulk is the strongest one there is 🙂

I can only hope to get a guy like that on Nova or the Gotg.

Betty and Hulk had some quick sex when they Collided that what actually cause the destruction Umar was mad hence her comment.

Seriously, has there ever been sweeter dialogue from the Hulk than this?

Planet Hulk was great the cast, environment ,emotion some of the best Hulk I have red PAD is still number one in my book but PAK put in some work.World War Hulk was IMO such a waste of such a good premise the point I keep coming back to where the war-bound and Hulk talking about how they had planned and strategist about their attack you know what 90% of that event was Hulk punching the shit out of everyone he ran into I mean it worked and all but was looking for something abit more. The last part of his trilogy World War Hulks that shit was so disjointed and hard to understand I don't even know if I liked it or not.

The lines become blurred in crossover events. It's no coincidence that the best stories Marvel has done in the last decade or so were completely self contained events.

i saw it as the hulk destroying everything..not so much as them as equals...he is now allowed to go all out and smash her and everybody else with out the fear of killing everybody....because of the wish...its pretty much the writers way to show hulk going all out and giving a valid reason why he was able to do it....thats how i see it at least

Wtf is that?

A scene from the Other Guys, The Rock and Samuel L. Jackson are cops that get the bright idea to chase after some perps by jumping off a building to cut them off.

They died.

The fact the Jackson is in that scene makes it impossible for it to be bad.

it is the best scene in the entire movie. I will forgive him if he meant the movie was shit, but that...that was fkn priceless. "You thinking what I'm thinking partner?"
