Save your money. Nova emerges from a stargate just outside of the milkyway galaxy and turns on the speed in a race to get to Earth. From there It's basically just a discourse on speed and how Nova perceives time and space when moving at ftl speeds. How in one eye, everything slows to a crawl so that he can maneuver around things, and in the other eye he processes things super fast so that he doesn't go crazy seeing things in real time that should take years to approach.The fact that he's new at it causes him to get confused between the two spectrums that he see's things and he loses control and crash lands on Earth apparently killing a lot of people...
All in all its cool if you're a Nova fan or just interested in a deconstruction of sorts on FTL travel. But you're not learning much in terms of the overall AvX storyline.

OMG. Wasn't the Midgard Serpent's claim to fame it's venom which was powerful enough to kill a god? Unless that tooth/horn is coated with the stuff, they jobbed out Thor big time.
