I think we all need to focus on Thing humbling Namor underwater for a moment.

Yeah that's ridic, drastically lowers Namor's stock. If it was on land they could say he wasn't at full power (even though his black suit rehydrates him, but many writers ignore that) but under water he has no such excuse.

Why?

When this Namor could only hit as hard as a car going 45 mph.

Hardly a big thing hanging with that.

Moleman gave Daredevil a pretty good fight, I mean Moleman

that was the biggest wtf moment imo.
cars slamming into water at faster speeds almost come to a complete stop due to negative acceleration, ben grimm rocketed out of the water and through an airborne helicarrier without slowing down noticeably.

doesn't add up

Uhh guys, the box said that BEN's punch was equal to the car traveling at 52 mph, not Namor's 😕

I didn't have problem with Magneto losing because the narrative basically season he lost because he decide to stop fighting. He was amping himself with the Magnetic field of every planet with in reach (which apparently is well out side our solar system because he was connect with a planet Phoenix destroyed)... and then he decided the fight didn't matter and stopped. That's some Thor killing Sentry in Siege shit. Iron Man only won because Magneto decided to stop fighting.

That's bullshit... Give Tony his props. He handed it to Mags. He left him floating in space incapacitated. And moved on to continue the Avengers domination. It is what it is. It was a great showing by both party's. Tony is just equipped to handle Magneto almost every time IMO.

Correct, they said Namor's punch was ONLY equal to 45 mph car. So he was weaker then Thing's punch

It said both. Thing's caption came in a prior book.

Meaning apparently Namor in water punches with less force than Ben.

Yup 😎

Oh I didn't see the first one, I'd thought there was only one statement regarding a speeding car 😛

Fight was horrible tho. Ben doesnt even have any business taking on Namor underwater IMO. He should have at best, put up a great fight before getting trounced. And Namor's stock drops. I was impressed by the IM/mags fight tho. IM continues his tradition of batting outside of his weightclass through prep, and Mag's shows he's still a boss.

What book are you talking about?

Also Moleman did pretty well against Wolverine too.

There's really no reason to be upset at the fact that Thor was beaten by Phoenix. After all, Phoenix is an upper-echelon cosmic/abstract being (and it's certainly being hyped more during this arc, then it has ever been before.)

Phoenix should be able to effortlessly trounce Thor.

But how true is this? The FULL PF was blown into billions of pieces by a "planetary EMP" attack by Xorn!

Man I feel sorry for Thor in this pathetic arc 🙁 And LOL at Namor getting owned...........underwater..........by Thing! Namor is fail. He's the Rachel Summers of flying bricks. 😆

True, the Phoenix Force has been owned before (Twice by Magneto as a matter of fact, each awesome displays of power and versatility. I love me some well written Master of Magnetism) but it's being treated and described as a true Cosmic force. Even the previous weapon the X-men used on it failed, and from the solicits it seems it's going to rape the Shi'ar too.

It's a shame that Thor didn't do better (The bandages were just unnecessary, he didn't have third degree burns on his boy or anything. He was just battered with force) but hopefully he has a better run through the rest of the arc.

I wonder how powerful the new Captain Marvel is, he was reborn by opening a portal to the White Home Room of the Phoenix or something of the sort so hopefully he got an amp. Injured or not, Thor would destroy him based on their past encounter. With a legit power up, we might have a unforced superhuman battle that's interesting. It's been a while.

Misconception. Thing has beaten Namor a number of times, it was only a matter of time before he bested the King of Atlantis underwater.
