You have to be pretty smart to defeat Sandman. Claws are not gonna cut it, pun intended. You have to have a solid plan.

Logan's not a scientist, but if he was given prep time or an advantageous environment, I really don't see how or why he couldn't beat Sandman. *shrug*

basically, sandman has to remain as dumb as a guy made of sand would have to be to lose, and be in a place with a massive water source for wolverine to beat him
