As much as I like Spiderman, he hasn't got what it takes to kill the Hulk. The only way he'll accomplish that is to wait for Hulk to change to Banner then punch him full strength.

Black Manta owned.

That's not Black Manta. Still a nice feat, though.

I don't care about what you're going to do later. Threatening me with a loss of brain cells isn't going to do much I'm afraid.

And I could let you get the last three posts in in a row, and you still wouldn't win

This week is going to please Rage with how well Thor does against Mar-Vell twice...

Ah, he would certainly enjoy it.

Thanks to silversavage on ICT for scans.

Mar-Vell ftw. 😎

Mar-Vell got a huge powerup though, being honest.

But it was still pretty awesome.

As much as I like Carol, I really wish it was Mar-Vell coming back and starring in the Captain Marvel ongoing.

Why couldn't Mar-Vell just overwhelm Thor until he was unconscious? The Odinson's injured and Mar-Vell is coursing with energy from the Phoenix Force, it'd be understandable.

Mar-Vell absorbing lightning and using it's power in conjunction with his own to blast Thor in the face is just insulting. I understand Thor's dumbed down sometimes but with a weapon like Mjolnir, he just comes off looking retarted for not countering.

Should have just stuck to close combat, he was whopping ass.

whoever wrote that is going to get their e-mail blown up

At least it was from a cool character like Mar-Vell and not some stupid ass one.

I'm all for Mar-Vell respekt.

True, Mar-Vell is awesome.

Still kind of annoyed though, Thor's fought Mar-Vell before and knows energy is his thing. Granted he thought it was an imposter but he should be on his toes.

Jeez, that was easily the most powerful portrayal of Fixit I've ever seen. Handled them less like the Grey Hulk and more like the Merged Hulk/Green Scar. Not to mention he's weaker in the daylight. I'm tempted to call him overpowering Simon PIS. Granted it was early into the run before the power up/push.

I wonder what PAD's opinion of this is. He liked to abide to power levels.

It was fun watching him wreck shit though. Fixit was awesome, the Vegas era was classic.

I think Mar-Vell tanking a Mjolnir strike to the face which was intended to literally rearrange his features is pretty goddamn impressive.

Especially when Iron Man was able to you know... actually effect Savage Hulk earlier in the series, and he was akin to a normal Human against Fixit.

That actually made zero sense to me. How did a kick do more damage than that? Whatever, Phoenix Force and all that.

Yea, Fixit comes off looking way better than Savage did for most of the event.
