I know it's Savage Hulk. Too bad there's no reason why he should even have reverted to that persona outside of "Hey, fans from the movie think Hulk is a dumb brute who takes in third person and smashes things".

Thor is just saying random shit that makes no sense in an effort for Bendis to have him sound like the regal character he should be. I'm surprised Bendis even mentioned Asgardia instead of Asgard.

And Thanos is god damn awful.

If you read comics for things other than feats (ie. story and characterization), you'd know it's true.

Im telling you odin is gonna show up with two eyes and take thors power away because hes not humble or possibly the watcher shows up to warn everyone that 'Galactus is coming". Wolverines gonna show up with that cat outfit with whiskers agains.

I guaren-damn-tee that anyone wanting a plausible explanation as to why and how Thanos and Starlord (and maybe Nova) survived the events of TI is going to be horribly disappointed.

This is literally designed to draw in fans from the movie and cash in on them. It being in continuity is a clever ploy not to alienate the fans who regularly do read comics. That is, until they actually read it.

Thor is about to attack Thanos...Hulk grabs Thor hammer, Thor turns around looking at Hulk, Hulk then tells him he is being mind controlled and he knocks Thor out. This is simple and its not like Thor can lower and raise his durability.

Hulk one shotted his a** and if the shoe was on the other foot, Thor would NOT have done the same to Hulk.

hulk is on thor's side he is a team mate, thor is about to attack thanos and suddenly hulk grab his arm thor doesnt understand what the hell is happening even after hulk tells him he isnt in control he doesnt realise whats going on its a wierd situation, at one point you got a friend on your side and suddenly he grabs your arm you are not going to be all like "lets kick his ass he is an enemy too", only someone dumb would assume such a thing, he is trying to understand whats going on and while looking at hulk he see a friend a team mate he didnt expect such a treatment, even after he got up he was stunned like how dare you.

yep. It's not like Thor was going to electrocute him on the spot for grabbing hold of him or something.

The writing is awful in general though. Knowing that Bendis can do better makes it worse for me.

Like I said...why bother?

Noone's complaining that Hulk can even hold the hammer to smite him down?

I'd like to point out that this was adressed in Ends of the world, now this is good writing eh? 😎

"I am Thanos. Warrior of Death." Bleh.

Does Thanos even care about warrior codes or whatever?

He does have a sense of honor and does relish combat when it suits him. His dialogue is still atrocious.

To a point I guess. Not if it doesn't suit him though.

I always figured that Thanos calling himself a warrior wouldn't be too far from Doctor Doom doing the same thing, but now that you mention it there are instances of him wanting to prove his strength in the past (ex. against Tyrant)

At least now we know what benidis's writing looks like when everyone doesnt sound like spiderman. So on that note maybe he should just make everyone sound like spiderman again.

He should have said: I'm a Boss

At this point, Bendis should just have Thanos say "U Mad?" as he does his classic Titan-Troll grin.

It would better than the mess of a comic we have now.

It would have been better. If he's not going to give a care about the characters' personalities then why not just go all the way?

Thanos: Sup hoes. I'm Thanos. Aka a total boss.

Hulk held Thor's hand (not the hammer itself) and made Thor hit himself.

I agree with you, Thor didn't get the chance to activate his durability. Lol.

I do know one thing though, like I've said before, if the shoe was on the other foot, that would not have happened to Hulk.

At first I was thinking the same but in teh panel where he actually hits him he's holding the hammer, shouldn't he instantly be unable to move the hammer?

EDIT: I mixed up the arms the art kinda sucks there cause his other arm is not to see.

You realize that in the world of comics, an unexpected attack will apparently deal more damage or exert more force than one if someone was bracing or prepared for it, right?

I know you like Hulk and you're excited about this feat, but don't be stupid about it.

^ thats basically what happened. Ortiz was staring straight at him. It was still a cheap shot.

Yeah, I made that mistake too when I first saw it.
