Character Ownage

He hurt the PF and gave it momentary pause. He can't destroy it under his own power and is still outgunned by it. In forum terms, the Force would win virtually every single time with Thor being able to briefly last in a confrontation before ultimately falling.

It's no big deal, really. Impressive from a feats and powers standard, but again, routine for Thor.

There was also the fact that Mjolnir had some kind of weird interaction with the Phoenix Force and the ability to absorb it, sort of like Sue's powers being a weakness to the Celestials (though not as extreme)

It appears there might be some hope left for the PF after all . Although I still dislike the Gladiator-Colossonautix interaction .

At this point, who here sees the PF as any sort of threat? If this is the power level they were going to portray the PF why even bother with it as the main villain or whatever it is in this arc? Why not just use Thanos or a Rogue Celestial instead?

Only thing I like about the Phoenix Five is Scott's look.

That's the thing with Hickman. We discussed this in another thread before. His statements contradict what happened on panel. I think it was a joke (notice laughs). There was no contact shown, and the hammer kept flying.

Compare this showing(vs the PF) against the one with Arishem(individually), Exitar and the Fourth Host , and you'll see that Thor performed considerably well against the PF than he did against the Celestials .

Agreed . However I wasn't expecting the PF to struggle to put down Thor , not with all the hype Marvel put into it , when going into AVX .

The Force did not flee. Thor clipped it's wings after Mljnoir had absorbed some of the force for the second time. Thor still got 1 shotted twice so how is that a "struggle"?
