IIRC That was from Infinity Crusade where the Goddess used the Cosmic Egg to supernova every star in the universe, which would apparently purge the universe of all life. Considering there are many places in Marvel with life that are far away from any star (Knowhere, etc.) and the power source that was fueling them, I'd be willing to bet those weren't any normal supernovae.

Lol I doubt that at least not based on their history, but then again seeing as how Marvel how have been sh*****g on Thor lately it wouldn't surprise me.I swear in this event alone the Phoenix power has KO'd Thor a good 5 times and that's not counting Avengers Assemble or his own book. He was also burnt by the sun last week in Avengers when back in the day Thor had a feat of him in the middle of he sun with no trouble. Honestly I think that relaunch by JMS has redefined Thor compared to his classic days, I really hope he has a high end showing in the next AvX:VS or before this event is out.
I've been saying this for a while. Being one shot by Hulk, Amadeus Cho, and Diablo rather recently. Then another time of Hulk beating him bloody and then unconscious with his own hammer. Red Hulk beating him to practically death with his own hammer. Like someone said here before, he might be better off leaving that thing at home with he goes out at this point. His own hammer has KO'ed him 5 times that I can think of right off the top of my head (and all of them rather recent).
Then the power levels of Asgard have been sh** on too. Siege was practically just a long series of humiliations for Thor and all Asgardians.
And yeah Thor has had some good feats recently as well, but he's also being humiliated on a monthly basis.
