Even though "Blood and Thunder" had not ofiicially started, Thor was definitely suffering from Warriors Madness at that point...

@pillarofosiris

You forget one of the worst ones IMO, getting stomped by tutinax twice the exact same way when by stats and feats Thor should have dismantled him. Seriously it's like that arc was crafted to humiliate Thor.

Diablo punked the High Evolutionary and Iron-Man too during that mini. Respect Esteban De Ablo 😈

Even though I don't think that was worse but that was basically the starting point.

And then there's the Hulk VS dvd, when Hulk beat Thor unconscious and could have killed him if he wasn't distracted. It's seriously like someone at Marvel HATES Thor.

Are you only hating the fact that he is getting dismantled by Hulk or are you looking at everything in total?

If it was once that wouldn't be so bad. The first meeting looked like a decent fight and I was surprised that Thor lost. But for them to set up another fight the next issue (where thor would normally come back and whup ass) and have Thor get stomped even faster only makes it look to me like the writer hates Thor. All made worse by the fact that Thor>tutinax.

Should've left Thor dead.

I'm looking at everything in total. Things like this:

and

It's not that he's getting beat, he's being humiliated. It's a slap in the face to his fans. I'd have no problem with Hulk and Thor fighting each other in a brawl, and Hulk winning after a long, drawn out match. But ONE SHOTING HIM WITH HIS OWN HAMMER, or even this:

It's disrespecting the character.

😘 ugh

It's like sorrow said, the number of times Phoenix KO'ed him in one series, Diablo, Tanarus, Amadeus Cho, the U-Foes, the dismantling of Asgard (how many times now?), Red Hulk, etc. It's everything together, not just the Hulk.

hell, I'd love to know why in the Avengers movie Iron Man can suddenly just absorb Thor's magic lightning. I guess hitting him with his magic lightning just makes him 4 times more powerful...

Sadly it is. They should go back to humiliating Superman clones to prove a character's might.

They're doing that because the fans know how powerful Thor is. They want stupid shock value. "ZOMG! That was THOR that just got ***** slapped!" So they use him as a personal punching bag and don't care what anyone else thinks or his history at all. Stan Lee needs to put these pups in their place for disrespecting his creation like this.

If dc treated superman like this I'd boycott them.

Beating him is one thing, but kicking the helmet, having moonstone stand over him and saying woof, beating him with his own hammer... There seems to be some anger by some writers there.

Agreed. Thor's character is being treated with an almost blatant disrespect at Marvel nowadays.

On a side note, I'm really tired of the way people talk in bendis books. "Woof"? Ive seen that in his books more than once and I cringe every time I see it. Who says that?
