I understand he is on Earth now. But he is not part of the Avengers roster.
My point is, leading up to the Avengers vs X-Men arc. The Avengers seem to be at a disadvantage, since the X-Men had a better line up.

It took more than one to beat him and he matched Cyclops blast, the same blast that took out Thor. He was stalemating Cyclops as well and the stuff his son stated he saw Glads do with nothing but brute strength was impressive as well.

This reminds me, and I've been pointing this out for long time. Sans the Fab Five.If the mutants act as a unified front they would wreck the avengers. Cosmic players in the sense Surfer, Quasar, Gladiator...pretty much the entire Annihilators would need to be brought in to level the playing field.
I stated this a long time ago. The Xmen is highly underrated.

lol no. It's pretty obvious Cyclops is holding back. They only put Glads down when he refuses to join their side.

Yeah but you can't exactly say how well he would've done 1 on 1 with Scott because Colossus stepped in from the blind side. It did show that just 1 punch from PF Colossus is capable of major damage. Emphasis on the word major.

The moment Cyclops began to let out the PF , it was pretty apparent that his optic beams were overpowering Kallark's eye lasers .
It was a royal gangrape , much like how the Fourth Host gave the Destroyer a beatdown .
Carter has the most simple-minded interpretations of scans .

Ripped a black hole with his bare hands....ok wow um..how do you rip, a rip in time space?

Maybe Gladiator only ripped its accretion disk ? Black holes are among the biggest jobbers in comics , so I wouldn't put too much credit into that .

I wasn't really opposing your point or anything. I just wish more cosmic heavy weights, like Surfer who's on earth, would join the fray. Gladiator should've called the Annihilators to back him, but now it's a missed opportunity. Too bad, would've been fun to see the Annihilators in action again.
Hopefully it escalates to that. The plot is awful, the execution is meh. At least make it flashy fight. The Avengers teaming up Annihilators, pretty much lets the readers know big of threat the X-Men are w/ Fab Five.
