Saying Blood & Thunder is not his normal level is lowballing Thor? 😂Even when not holding back we have seen Thor fail to replicate that level of power against his peers. It was stated in the run he was drawing strength from his insanity, he went from getting beat by Bill, to taking on several high heralds - shrugging off their attacks and one shotting them.
Yes it is 😂
Don't see how that proves much to be honest. Bill had Thor on the ropes and could have killed him when he cut loose. But he wanted to help so he let up the assault when he had him on the ground. The only times he lost were times he severely held back. Basically kept talking and no fighting. And then he lost against after Blood and Thunder when Thor one shot him.Well yeah they thought he was gaining power from the madness. Before they knew it wasn't true warrior madness lol.

Well I agree that it was his body and power and whatnot and so it wasnt an amp directly if he has that but the complete mental fragmentation and lack of showings with a non-psychotic Thor achieving such is what rules it out its applicability(even while having the will to kill and not holding back). The Black celestial arc is generally considered the same thing but ill just agree to disagree at this point. 🙂
Fair enough. We believe in our points strongly enough to where neither of us is backing down from them. So I extend a virtual shake of hands.
Like Pr said a couple of pages ago, AvX doesn't reduce Thor's average. Not sure why this is even being discussed outside of entertaining the trolling and lowballing of some posters. We tend to go through this with every event with characters, acting like the summer crossover of the year either drastically raises a character's stock or lowers it. Unless there's explicit amps or depowerments, it's hardly ever been the case.
Carver: Hulk's power level isn't relatively static like Thor's is, so your rant is a moot point. Gladiator's best also isn't equal to Thor's best, so there's that too. Also, nice lowballing attempt. If you want to run down non Odin-Force/amped Thor feats since Thor came back in 07 or even since Fraction got on the main title, feel free. You'll be sorely disappointed if you think Thor doesn't have feats in the high herald tier and also come off looking stupid, but that's never stopped you before, so whatever. Of course, you'll probably just be like "Whatever Jake, you're not ready for a debate with me" and then retreat as always.
Concerning Blood and Thunder Thor: That Thor isn't what I'd call a normally blood lusted Thor as he's significantly, well, phucking nuts. It still doesn't detract from his power level any. Just means that Thor can't normally achieve that mindset on his own as we've seen bloodlusted/willing to kill Thor before in comics.
Also, if anyone wants to prove that Thor benefits more from PIS/CIS than his peers, feel free to do so.

Thor's always had the "will to kill", but usually not the ability 😉And yes, zopzop, it's things like the feats you mention (and then some) that stick out as being examples of staggering PIS/CIS.
Every Surfer fight with Hulk demonstrates just how durable and superior he is compared to your standard heralds, yet Marvel never produce a fair account of Surfer when up against Thor. Why? for fear of the insane Thor fanatics (people who literally hound writers and proudly proclaim their 'victories' here).
Hulk beating Thor resoundingly, convincingly, consistently, is just about the funniest thing you can see, if you're not a Thor fanatic.
Here's a "god" that carries around his father's tool, and he can't compete for power or strength with a man with wonky genes!
Stop squishing each other's flanks and know that Thor is simply being written poorly.
