Given how much Jason was hated at the time, it probably would have been celebrated too.

The vote on whether or not he should die was really close, though.

I don't believe i was alive at the time that vote was made, why was jason hated so much?

In fact , IIRC , Moore expressed regret later on about his treatment of Barbara in that particular arc .
