Russia did not stop Hitler sorry to burst your bubble.
👆 This though he had reasons to not trust them. The failed taking of Britain for one. Had the German air forces not bombed London and went for a final bombing of the RAF base western Europe would have been done for. The commander of the german air force messed up big time.
Your history books are written by tards if that's what you learned from them, then.

Never claimed America was the sole reason 😐

I read them Europe was screwed the only thing that held the Axis back was the unsuccessful attempt at taking Britain the Royal airforce won out even though they were outmatched and Russia being a cold wasteland. Even then the Axis would have overwhelmed Europe once Japan could properly reinforce the Axis in Europe but alas the yanks saved the Allies

Meh i said they bailed them out not that they were the sole reason for the Axis losing.

"bailed them out" eh...
Originally posted by -Pr-They did bail them out but they were hardly the sole reason the axis lost. The British had heavy losses in the pacific most notably the loss of Singapore. 80,000+ British troops killed or captured Japan was about to buttrape Eastern Europe. Swooooomm here comes the b 24 bombers lol. Honestly the war would have ended differently if not for the Yanks. The Axis and allies had the technology and strategy to win even at that point

From what you just said, I have to ask... Do you even know HOW WW2 was fought?
Would the war have ended differently? Sure. Were the Americans any more a reason for the success of the war than Britain or Russia? Not really.
Originally posted by -K-M-No but they turned the tide to what was called a stalemate iirc my memory is shit i admit. Many factors lead to Allied victor but the Yanky bombers and airforce gave the Allies the decisive advantage. Not to mention the naval presence they had in the Pacific.
Still sounds like you think American won WW2 single handily. 😬
Originally posted by -Pr-Of course i know HOW it was fought. Until the yanks came along it was a war of attrition one that would have ended badly for the allies. I Agree that the Yanks weren't anymore responsible for the Allies winning than the other powers they were late in the battle Russia and Britain did surprisingly well even though they were outmatched and under powered. The fact is if it were to continue the way it was they would more than likely had lost. So America did "bail them out" but they weren't the sole reason for the victory the reinforcements were needed.

Originally posted by iceman24567Obviously the inclusion of America helped ruin Germany faster than if they had not been in there, but there are historians that don't think it would have mattered cause at the end of the day Stalin's Russia was waiting, and that was a fight Hitler only had one chance of winning and he tried and failed.

The fact is Stalin had tons more Russians than Hitler had Germans to throw around and Stalin had no hesitation in using that advantage.
In a prolonged resource draining war Russia was always going to beat Germany in WW2

US had also been supplying the allies with equipment.
Originally posted by NewjakThat much Hitler even knew but Japan had been waiting for a reason to attack Russia so theirs that.
