Sure, because he certainly did lift planetary weight on panel which is canon. That said, while it's a great quantifiable strength feat - putting it lightly - it doesn't put him on a completely different level in terms of formidability as a whole.
The creature easily overpowered Superman with the tip of its tail. Are you of the opinion that the creature was exerting planetary+-level force at its tail to subdue Superman? Or do you think that maybe, just maybe, Superman's insane strength feat was forgotten just as quick as it was preformed? I'm trying to find a baseline, is all.

Tbh, I don't think the creature was using planetary + level strength at all.

But... its tail overpowered Superman... who was benching earth-weight a few pages earlier... planetary power is his baseline now...Read a comic, you hater.

You don't have to utter threats to people who hate Superman to love Superman. If Superman fanboys existed, they'd be hard to see beneath this wave of irrational haters.
Originally posted by abhilegendgood explanation but superman should be stronger than other kryptonians. If he is isn't then the other kryptonians should be able to replicate his bench press feat which IMO lowers it because it is no longer unique to him. Also since Non is bigger than superman, does that make him more powerful. Im predicting that the Dino being a zombi was magical in nature. If it was more powerful than superman, superman shouldn't have been able to knock out with mountai destroying punch or kill it with an explosion. If not, then Superman should have died too because it looks like he was caught in the explosion.
Yeah, a kryptonian dino whose durability is shit because he's a zombie overpowers superman and that's some sort of low showing? Do any of you guys have any idea of how kryptonian powers work? Lobdell is clearly taking his ideas from bronze age superman where the strength of any kryptonian species was proportionate to its size. Its no low showing at all and its not lowering his formidability, getting overpowered by a stronger being doesn't lower your formidability.
Yeah, the lowballing begins. I mean its not like it was a kryptonian dino who was explicitly stronger than superman but with lower durability because it was a zombie. I mean, whats the odds of superman getting overpowered by something stronger than him? The reaching here to discredit superman's explicit feat is borderline idiotic, "DURRR, the dino got hurt by an oil explosion", "Another DURRRR, its head was koed by a punch which could topple a small mountain", "DURRR, me don't think it was a planetery+ strength feat", when its durability has nothing to do with strength. It also can't be planetery+ even though it overpowered a planetery+ superman and is explicitly stronger than him, because ummm....... it didn't bench press earth's weight. Its like suddenly all of you forgot how to read comics.
No one is low-balling, abhi. We all recognize that the planet-benching feat happened, and it's uber as phuck... No denying that.
But in the very same comic, a Kryptonian dragon zombie overpowered Supes with just the tip of it's tail-- and then Supes went on to own a creature THAT much more powerful than himself with two, fairly meager, attacks (ie. a mountain-toppling punch, and an oil explosion.) Just came off a bit inconsistent, is all.

Lol.
Who exactly is lowballing this feat?

QFT.
