The Jupiter suit was a special outfit worn by John Jameson, son of the famous publisher that plagues Spider-man, and the subject of quite a few superhero (and supervillain) treatments himself.
Apparently, far from augmenting strength, as many forum participants mistakenly tell other fans, the Jupiter suit hampers the movement of any wearer; adds to the difficulty of it, presumably by replicating the heavy gravity conditions of ... Planet Jupiter.
