It seems every little story he's going to give a crazy feat to one character. So far he's got his new characters covered with Hype and Universe. Looks like it's Smasher's turn next, and then probably the Starbrand issue we'll get more into the team aspect. That crazy Hickman and the foundations he builds.
Actually got me excited for a comic ever since his Mad Celestial arc.

But yes, I think two planets colliding is enough to destroy 2 universes... use your head.
Even following your logic (that all he survived was two planets colliding), you're ignoring that EVERYTHING perished in those universes. the debris, the stars, everything.
So Hyperion was placed in a bubble or something and felt none of the force? Is that what you think?
You seem to be under the impression that the two planets collided and this produced a big blast, which in turn destroyed the two Universes, with Hyperion being in the center of that blast, when that couldn't be further from the truth. No, what happened was that after the planets touched eachother, a cascade effect was produced which destroyed the two Universes.
Hyperion himself only experienced a small part of that cascade effect - the one that took place when the Earths smashed into eachother. He didn't experience it whole, since he was only present at the incursion point, and not at the expanding cascade effect which destroyed both Universes. Flash fact: Hyperion isn't Eternity.

a). Living Tribunal hits Blunt Dude with a big bang in the face.
b). Living Tribunal sets off a chain reaction that destroys Blunt Dude's Universe, by overlapping Blunt Dude's Universe with another, nullifying eachother, with the first smashing taking place in Blunt Dude's location.
