Not what I meant. I was asking if MM had ever killed in a capacity when it wasn't one of those times. When he could avoid killing someone, but did anyway.

I'm sure he'd kill in self defence or to save others.

I don't recall if any of the Earth lanterns killed during the war, but I know Hal, being a soldier, has no problems with taking a life if forced in to it. He was a pilot after all.

When Hal Jordan and cow girl were kidnapped in some european country, Hal shot some soldiers to get free. Not to mention the fact that Hal roasted Krona on panel and blew the head off a Sinestro corp member in issue 3 of the current run.

Also, Guy Gardener did kill some yellow lantern after the war. I can't remember which one but it was some major GL corps arc.

Ronan>Surfer.

😱

It's no Mjolnir, but the Universal Weapon can be a very potent source at times. Ronan was also treated as more of a high herald in terms of power then a mid in the Annihilator series.

He was outright stated to be less powerful than everyone else in Annihilators by Ikon, even less than Gladiator. He's low herald at best then.

sneer

Although surfer asking genis for help against ronan is lulzworthy.

Also your habit of mentioning thor in every post is amusing.👆

I only read that series once. Do you happen to have scans? What? How is being less powerful than the likes of Gladiator, Surfer and Bill mean he's clearly low herald level at best? That's ridiculous.

I may have only read the two series once, but I still remember it being made obvious Ronan was a power house on their level or dang close, and he had some respectable showings under his belt. Even moved a planet with Surfer and transmuted a Star with him or some such.

It's a gift.

I couldn't find the scan but its from Annihilators 1. He was ranked as Alpha level while everyone else was alpha plus.

Gladiator is a mid herald at best, no matter how much carver protests. So Ronan is a low herald at best.

uhuh

I was joking, if that's not obvious by now.

No, he moved a planet off-panel with Gladiator and quasar and both of them are more powerful than him and surfer channeled his power through his hammer to transmute

He has. I know it's happened a fair few times, but the only one that comes to mind is when he threw his brother into the sun.

I think you mean "sister".

Or, potentially, 2nd "wife".

I was actually looking at that case, that of D'Kay D'Razz, the other day ...

There's also that time when Surfer beats up Ronan who was enhanced and prepped to fight Surfer.

No cheap shots from Ronan this time 😉

Ultimately in this story, it did not matter that Superman refrained from offing Joker. Somebody else did it soon after Joker's arrest.

I wonder to this day, though, given how closely the language fits that of the Dark Knight Returns, and especially the degree to which Alex Ross was trying to "blend" storylines into one another during this time ...
or at least "echo" them in reference ...
did Superman think the man that killed Joker was, indeed, Batman himself?

Joker looks really menacing here. I'm surprised Supes didn't beat the shit out of him, though.

did robin go super saiyan or something?

No, he's just painted yellow (as is the entire room). Also, he stole Lantern's ring.

It's from All-Star Batman.

What issues? That's hilarious and makes me want to see panties robin in action ( outside of a Adam west batman rerun those things are awesome )
