But it was never clear if this Mxyztplk was just another representation of the real Mxyztplk. That is what I remember, but maybe I just remember wrong.

@Bran: What I don't understand though is why this incident which took place in AoA#14 is being continued in X-treme X-Men#13. I mean, I get it's a crossover and all, but even crossovers are supposed to have some sort of internal consistency, and not just randomly depict incidents from one comic to another.

The prelude is AOA 13. Next one is X-Termination Alpha. Then Astonishing X-Men 60. Then AOA 14. Then X-Treme X-Men 13.

Just a way to get you interested in way too many X books IMO.

He's definetly shown as the most powerful in this event, but yeah he doesnt need to be Flash. Aurora is a much better character anyways

Yes, 99% the speed of light. He and Aurora acheived light speed when they had the Children of the Vault upgrade but they lost that.

He's also showing super strength lifting and holding two Wolverine's (300 lbs each) and Hercules (325 lbs) at the same time.

I don't mind characters getting a power boost, I'd just rather they left light speed to characters like the Flash family that have the "speed force" to explain why they don't cause massive damage to the environment when moving that fast.

Even Aquatic based characters shouldnt do the things they do. As if they did go super fast it would cause a lot of harm to the environmental as well.

Thats real world problems, comics can ignore that though

I like having a little RL in the comics, as it slows down things like power creep and the need to retcon or reboot characters/universes.

Northstar can run casually at light speed now and showed super strength yea.

The Marvel speedsters are getting a lot more Flash like in power levels recently. Not too long ago Quicksilver had his super speed push.
