uhuh

Warned.

At least the above Hulk scans confirm what was already stated on-panel before: Hulk didn't overcome the worthiness enchantment with strength but instead was found worthy. The hammer is clearly operational in Hulk's hands, instead of just being lifted against the enchantment.

we'll see

It's Odin, he's finally found a worthy son.

Either that or the hammer's actually channelling The HulkForce, rather than the Odinforce. Hence the fear on the faces of the Frost Giants.

I liked that he seemed to have his own unique energy signature

Bendis' GOTG #2. Mercifully, he'll be giving up most of his writing duties on that book to Neil Gaiman after issue 6 I believe. Hopefully he gets the Guardians the hell out of low Earth orbit and places a halt on some of the cornball dialogue. "Earthlings" lol.

👆 I thought the same thing. If he wasn't worthy, he wouldn't have been able to use it's other powers like flight. Lol

So can a thorbag thorfan please tell us what's worse..
1: Hulk being worthy
2: Hulk overpowering the enchantment.

I ain't a Thorbag, but IMO Hulk overpowering the enchantment would take one big shit over Odin as well and that makes it worse.

On the other hand Hulk suddenly being worthy shits all over decades of continuity, so flip a coin?

all we can do is pray bendis leaves comics altogether. that or kill him that is.

Meh people have been made temporarily worthy in the past so that isn't a big deal to me. Hulk all of sudden overpowering the enchantment to me would be stupid.

I had not heard that Gaiman was taking over GotG

makes me excited that we will see some cosmic weirdness as opposed to typical superherodom

Lol @ Doctor Light trying to do what he does best.

Also, Loeb is leaving "Nova" as of issue 5 or 6 I believe.

"Nova" is getting some new writer that I've never heard of. I'm guessing that Marvel can afford to let "nova" go after 12 issues or so. But they have to pretty much -for lack of a better term- subsidize GOTG because of the movie coming out next year and all.

😂
