They should've put Red Son Batman in Injustice instead of creating a Russian Grundy.

Russian Grundy is pretty cool! I like to ignore the in game origins and such but yeah red son batman would be awesome.

Aquaman definitely.
Superman maybe.
Captain Atom.
Cyborg maybe.

Anyone read Batman #20? Batman states that just being in the room with magic was killing Superman because his body rejects it.

Supes' powers may be as good/better than before, but it sounds like his magic weakness is a real weakness this time around...

That honestly seems inconsistent with the rest of his issues so far since the reboot, tbh.

Agreed.

Batman talking shit out of his ass again.

Should stick to molesting kids.

Has he had any good showings against magic? Also, more than Batman talking, Clark did admit to having trouble standing.

Maybe inconsistent writing?

It's always been a problem for Superman. Rarely is it not. Somewhat less rarely is it as completely debilitating as it was in Batman vol.2 #19-20 though. That was bad.

Superman himself was making most of those comments to that effect.

No, he hasn't. But this showing was definitely the worst so far.

Welcome to comics.

It happens, I remember during a JLA issue where Superman had to sit out fighting some gremlins or something because he was no more durable to magic then normal human beings. On the other hand, Superman's weakness wasn't even brought up in his fight with Thor in JLA/Avengers (IIRC to make it more interesting or something).

Shit like this, is heavily dependent on the writer and plot.

Well, the issue here is that Superman was affected worse than a regular human, not just shown to be no more resistant than a normal human. It was to the point where magic was literally like kryptonite or red sunlight (harmful to Superman, harmless to humans).

I remember flipping through that issue at the book store and raising an eyebrow. Certainly seems like a low showing. He could barely focus his vision and felt nausea for the first time or something, right?

Who is that

Batman comics have a habit of playing out superman's magic weakness much more than usual. If you think its bad, read batman confidential when superman guest-starred in it. Its an outlier and certainly not the norm, preboot or after reboot. We would see how magic affects him when he goes against captain marvel or black adam soon.

Batman Confidential had some horrendous and blatant PIS bullshit "feats" in it.

It was outright demeaning to any guest-star much more than usual PIS. The writer was apparently trying to one up every character using batman.

That issue where Batman solos the JLA (save Superman) was probably one of the single most laughable comics I've ever read in my life.

😂

Oh yea, I completely forgot about that. Funny stuff. Hand Ninja syndrome effects everyone man.

I always laugh when I see batman deducing diana was "powerful".
