@Rage,

I haven't seen Hulk on the Avengers in a bit. Is he a person that they call when times get ruff or did they remove him off the team and just using Banner for tech?

how would you take it if he's revealed to be stronger? (take it as in "the news", not the spark of life within your body)

J'onn being stronger than superman? That'd be laughable to see. Even Johns wouldn't do that.

since you couldn't even answer, maybe it would be too much to live with

J'onn looks terrifying to fight against.

In fact, Superman's face seems kind of scared, too.

A good dose of connected heat vision oughtta put him away.

So did Mystique just one-shot Thor?

Where?

So, Ultimateverse's Negative Zone has it's own Infinity Gauntlet? Does that make it a parallel universe then?

Reminded me of the anti-matter universe in Pre-flashpoint DC (CSA)

Astonishing X-Men #64

I'll check it out. How does Mystique have ice powers?

Wickity what up?

The ice was from an amped Ice-Man (that jewel Mystique just swallowed). Thor just beat it out of him and then I guess Mystique did that to him

Hmm, how potent is this Apocalypse Power gem that Iceman has? Seems to have made him crazy powerful (Freezing the planet indirectly) but still, Thor took it to him. Are Mystique's ice powers revealed only in this issue? How is she able to penetrate Logan and Thor so easily?

No clue, but the previous issue Thor was scared when Ice Man started to lose control.

Yeah as far as I know Mystique never showed ice powers before. Why do you say she showed ice powers anyways? The snowmen she was with is what impaled Wolverine and then trapped him in ice. She has shown to make blades with his regular powers, I don't think that was an ice attack that took out Thor.

I was worried that Johns would job superman again to one of his favorites. Also superman pretty much shrugged off that magically charged punch.

Well has anything shown if he had a weakness to magic in this new 52?

Oh, this seems to be a continuation from the Celestial arc. Is the Apocalypse Power what they used to combat those Multiversal energy drainers? Trying to figure out how impressive it is of Thor to take out this Iceman.

Hmm, curious how next issue will go.

Well in all honesty, Ice Man had Thor beat but then he got distracted and then Thor knocked out the stone from his body which was the source of his power when his back was turned. Wouldn't say it's an amazing showing for Thor.

Also no, they basically trapped those multi-versal beings in the AoA universe that's how they were beat. Though Northstar was shown to hurt them fairly easily.

Correction, Iceman thought he had Thor beat until he -presumably- got free of his Dragon monster or whatever. Should have payed attention. 😛 Not amazing, but not bad either.

What's the Apocalypse power from then? It was referenced in that story. Yeah, what was up with that? Iceman's powers had some effect on them as well. Were they so dangerous because they can consume pretty much any energy?

The look of fear in Thor was not very good. Yep, he should have but he ultimately was taken out from a shot from behind. Kind of a meh! feat. Good, but not amazing as you saw. What I do find messed is how the hell did Mystique do that?

Yeah, I forgot what he did exactly with his powers. I'll have to reread X-Termination again.

Iceman's face being shattered was even worse. Yeah, it was a cheap shot, I'll give you that. Iceman should have known freezing Thor's blood, brain etc. wouldn't stop him.

Yeah, how the f*ck did Mystique cut through Thor so easily? And even worse, how the f*ck did she cut through Logan? The ice was called razor sharp but common, that's PIS imo.

Next issue, should be interesting. Hope Thor doesn't get jobbed. These X-men books and making Avengers looking bad. What is it with that franchise?

She didn't cut Wolverine there, that was from the snowmen she was with. Still the Thor scene doesn't make much sense.
