So far, the Kollective are DCnU's most powerful. Or at least one of in terms of villains.

1. That's entirely false Carver.
Stop posting things you have no idea about. The Who's Who series back in the 90s mention "Darkseid is unquestionably one of the most powerful beings in the universe". The 2003 JL guide or something mentions "there's no greater threat than the ruler of Apokolips". The 2006 DC comics encyclopedia "Darkseid is the gravest threat to the DCU representing all that is vile and corrupt".

The first part specifically dismisses your ignorant comment.

2. That's Earth 3 Aquaman, Sea King and he dies because Johns want's to send a message about the 90's and their place in the NuDCU.
He looked awesome though and hope he makes more appearances even if they are a flash back.
Also dying from heat vision is unlikely, normal Aquaman has tanked that multiple times, including blasts from Amazo.
