Green Goblin is awesome.

Still waiting for him to face Spock

Me too. Just hope it's really Norman and not some wannabe.

naked dictation... sounds reasonable just hope Viktor didn't come up with that whole thing the same way. I could just imaginie it. Naked Dictating Tyrants Support Group where cruel overlords go to discuss how ideas flow better while naked.

So a weakened ultraman just pushed moon so that sunlight doesn't reaches earth?

😱

I thought he was high on kryptonite in the book (he said he was the strongest again after dragging on kryptonite like it was cocaine 😄 ).

Anyways, I thought Superman could move a moon already.

He is weakened by sunlight I heard.

The sunlight actually physically hurt him. He said it stung.

But earlier on the book, he was inhaling raw kryptonite and searching for kryptonite around the globe.

Maybe. I haven't read it yet. Did Darkseid actually destroy planets?

Yeah, it's all in Forever Evil 1. Ultraman is something of a "kryptonite junkie".

The book (Justice League 23.1) does say that Darkseid destroys world after world while chasing Kaiyo. It's not shown explicitly on panel but i think its pretty clear he has the power to wreck planets.

The book does say that "a" Superman's power rivals his (another Earth's Superman) and our Superman was strong enough to hold him at bay.

I think Supes is still very much at Darkseid's level.

Ultraman gains his powers by kryptonite.

By strength or energy blasts?

Pak is going to make superman a monster in strength if he thinks young superman was strong enough to stop Darkseid who can destroy planets.

Ultraman is the ****, moving the moon under what is his equivalent of a red sun.

Also, I like how Darkseid destroyed the original world, "the world before our worlds".

The planet destroying part wasn't shown on panel but he was blasting stuff all around before that scene (I read my books digitally, so I can't upload scans).

I think Pak is suggesting that a young Superman was enough to stall Darkseid but not stop him outright. The book made reference to the roles that Batman and the other members of the JL played in BFRing Darkseid.

Oh yeeahhhh...

Darkseid Omega beams the old world, completely destroys it.

Yeah...Just re-read the issue.

Izaya (the highfather) also gets his powers from the old gods..interesting.

Concerning the Darkseid issue.

Spoiler:
1) It shows the Old World / Planet exploding and the narration reads "so he destroyed the world" (Darkseid).

2) The narration for Superman actually reads "...who's strong enough to keep even great Darkseid at bay long enough for the cleverest of them to tap into the machine you created..."

The issue also shows Darkseid teleporting (like using the Omega Beams for that) across Earth and ripping holes across universes with his bare hands.
Plus the already mentioned numerous dead Supermen on Apokolips.

IMO Darkseid is shown as more powerful than Supes by quite a bit. This in addition to JL 23 where he is called one of the most powerful beings in existence and the constant mention of him as a god.
