Why is beast just standing there while Wolverine is being shanked?

thats a point i made in a thread of beast vs blade.
it seems like in all the fights the x men ever had, 99.5% of the situations you see the x men actually fighting while beast either standing and watching or jumping here and there and avoid fighting... i just cant get it seriously.

Because Beast was terrified probably. Wolverine's like the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe and Beast watches him go down like a sack of Alistair Overeem.

"I think my first draft had Corvus carrying around Wolverine's severed head like a pumpkin, but Tom made me take it out," Hickman says.

Darkseid's power level is defined to be beyond Superman's. Being more powerful doesn't mean that you win every confrontation against the weaker opponent. You simple have the better odds in that case.

Superman being able to beat someone who's supposed to be above his paygrade isn't far-fetched line of thinking at all.

On a lot of forums I go, this is often pointed out.Superman beating Darkseid.Darkseid is more powerful than Superman. But in almost every confrontation, why doesn't Darkseid use his vast powers against Superman? If this is the case, is this classified as PIS or CIS for Darkseid?

A hero beating a more powerful villain usually requires plot device.Otherwise, the more powerful villain being beaten by a less powerful hero without plot device either becomes PIS or CIS.The more powerful Villain gets ridiculed in the forums if majority of his fights were he loses are via PIS(or sometimes CIS).I'm saying this for all Superhero/Supervillain battles. And not just for Superman or Darkseid.Just saying 😎

Naah...when I think of a major villain in DC, I think of Darkseid. Pre reboot DC crapped all over Darkseid imo. Just straight up DOO DOOD on him. That fight where the entire JLA struggled to even push him through a boom tub should be how Darkseid should always be written.

Superman can bench planets, Darkseid should be able to crush suns. If Pak writes Superman beating Darkseid, I'm going to rip up every Hulk comic he wrote.

Hahaha.

When did you start carrying so much about Darkseid?

Meh, I don't even care if he gets beat up anymore. This comic was pretty f*cking bad to the point that I wouldn't mind Aquaman killing him straight up. Just so it could be revealed to be a fake Darkseid and origin story.

Pak can be a good writer, not sure why he's so content with putting out garbage.

Also, how the hell did a random farmer (Seriously, Darkseid was a mud farmer lol) kill Old Gods and steal their power with zero explanation? Makes no sense even if they were weakened.

😂 😂

That is the dumbest thing that I've ever seen in a long time.

Whoever wrote this needs to be slapped. Unless Ultraman spends every minute of the day shifting the moon, he just killed almost everyone on the planet for no reason.

This is gonna be to Bran's liking and Rage's amusement. This is why Hercules isn't in Thor's or Surfer's league😄

After being humbled by Galactus, Hercules inadvertently made Galactus laugh.

Just read this...Ultraman was amped off Kryptonite when he pulled this ft off. Its still impressive though.

Also, I want to add to the comment above. Black Adam isn't close to his Pre Reboot self. He sat there/flew and didn't say a thing while Ultraman threatened the entire crowd. Saying that if anyone opposed them (CS), they would die along with their family and friends.

You don't know much about ultraman, do you?

TRUTH

I thought Kryptonite made Ultraman stronger instead of weaker.

In the past (old continuity) Kryptonite gave Ultraman different powers.

Apparently now it makes him stronger. So carver might be right.

That being said, I don't think Ultraman (or Superman for that matter) need amps to move a moon. I think they have enough power on their own to do that.

Kryptonite is his power source, its more like him getting his powers back after being less powerful. He constantly needs kryptonite to be at full power.

Nah, its needed constantly to just be at full power for him. He gets weaker the moment he is removed from it in both pre-crisis and post-crisis continuity and then after a kryptonite recharge gets at full power.

It's almost as if people commented on Ultraman without knowing sh_t about the character 😖hifty:

Or purposely lowball a decent feat. Nah, not carver, he'd never do that to a DC character.
