Just yesterday I went to comicvine where citizenbane was spreading his lies as usual. I responded to him which you can see here in my posting history.

What was his response? He gave me a warning and then deleted the thread.

Heh. Let it never be said that KMC mods are d*cks. Especially in recent years, it's practically anarchy compared to that level of dickery.

d.) That very same year(1982) DC Comics Presents: Annual was released. In it, Ultraman trounced the Supermen of Earth 1 AND Earth 2, simultaneously:
Superman speculated that Ultraman's punches hurt because the kryptonite he consumed over the years might still linger within him(a fact which I commented on earlier.) Either way, beating not one, but two Silver Age Kryptonians is quite impressive, if you ask me. 🙂

Aside from that, I'm not sure why you got all defensive and posted those scans to begin with..? I never said that Ultraman was portrayed as more powerful than Superman on average. As with most villains of the Silver Age, Ultraman was treated as little more than a filler/fodder-villain more times than not. However, consuming kryptonite did appear to increase his power moreso than sunlight amps Superman. Heck in one of his first appearances, Ultraman developed a completely new superpower with each new exposure to kryptonite-- in fact, this is how Ultraman acquired the ability to see through dimensional barriers in the first place, which subsequently alerted the CSA to the existence of alternate Earths.
...But this is all secondary to the fact that he's still got one of the most badass deaths in DC's history, imo...

Abhi you damn buzzkill.

Ultra man being beastly makes Supes beating him even more impressive.
However, Johns' Ultraman is a different animal entirely... And we've seen what Johns likes to do with Silver Age characters a few times now, so I'd be surprised if Ultraman doesn't receive the same treatment.

Wouldn't that be amazing if John's made He-Man the hero of Forever Evil? He comes in and stabs Ultraman to death. 😛
Seriously, I already predicted in the Hyperion thread that Ultraman will get better battle feats and I'm not changing that.

You already know its bound to happen. I'm sitting and waiting. You usually don't entertain it...it would be best not to go any further with it after the post you just did because honestly, you proved your case.
Originally posted by Galan007I posted all those scans. It was about superman owning ultraman, not about Ultraman owning Dr. Fate. Superman also announced himself before punching Ultraman. Also superman would've felt the kryptonite radiation in Ultraman's body and its not like he immediately recovers from kryptonite poisoning.
a.) As those scans explicitly state: Superman was not "poisoned by kryptonite" at the time. He was at his normal levels.
b.) Superman clearly got the proverbial 'drop' on Ultraman.
c.) You didn't mention the fact that in those scans, Ultraman tanked blasts from Silver Age Doctor Fate before one-shotting him. Here's the(now emphasized) showing again:
That is an ungodly impressive feat in its own right, so I don't blame you for not pointing it out.

Originally posted by abhilegendOkay, but it's kind of oxymoronic to post a gargantuan feat for Ultraman in the same breath that you're trying to belittle him in. That said, tanking magical blasts from Silver Age Doctor Fate before proceeding to one-shot him is ridiculously...massively...retardedly... impressive.
I posted all those scans. It was about superman owning ultraman, not about Ultraman owning Dr. Fate.

That was the extent of Superman's alleged "announcement."

Originally posted by abhilegendOkay? Ultraman still owned 2 Silver Age Kryptonians(one of which was 'mainstream' Superman), with, literally, a few hits each. That was the only point of those scans. I mentioned the fact that he[Ulty] naturally emitted low-levels of kryptonite radiation long before you even started your defensive rant, so that 'point' of yours has already been rendered moot... By me. 🙂
Meh, Kal-L wasn't even able to fly at that time and was back at his golden age levels and Ultraman was amped by Kryptonite just before that and that's why superman got weakened, it wasn't a speculation.
Originally posted by abhilegendNo one had to say you went on the defensive. It was obvious.
Who said I was defensive? I was just correcting you that Ultraman was above superman in silver age.
Why was it obvious? Because I never once said that Ultraman was portrayed as more powerful than Superman, on average... Just that kryptonite appeared to amp him moreso than sunlight amped Supes-- which is quite accurate.
Originally posted by abhilegendIf you actually knew that, you would have never went on the defensive to begin with. Everything I've said is 100% factual, and certainly does not low-ball your beloved Superman in the slightest.
You think I don't know that?
Originally posted by Galan007It was never to lowball him to begin with. Why do you think getting knocked out by silver age superman is a low showing?

He silently tapped Ultraman on the shoulder. When Ultraman turned to see who was tapping him, Supes cold-clocked him:That's classic trope of a hero announcing his presence to a villain. Its no sucker shot you're trying it to make. That was the extent of Superman's alleged "announcement."
I would normally agree... Had Superman not explicitly said: "And once I was far enough from that kryptonite, my powers came back.":Yeah, his powers came back. Doesn't mean he wasn't weakened by kryptonite radiation, its no smallville where the powers came back as soon as the kryptonite was removed.

Defensive rant? You've gotta be kidding me. You mentioned
Superman speculated that Ultraman's punches hurt because the kryptonite he consumed over the years might still linger within him(a fact which I commented on earlier.)and left the fact that he was just recently amped. Also Kal-L was at golden age level.
No one had to say you went on the defensive. It was obvious. What gave it away? "Oh really" part?
😂
Why was it obvious? Because I never once said that Ultraman was portrayed as more powerful than Superman, on average... Just that kryptonite appeared to amp him moreso than sunlight amped Supes-- which is quite accurate. And I only said superman kicked his shit in while he was recently poisoned by kryptonite. What was defensive about it?
If you actually knew that, you would have never went on the defensive to begin with. You mentioning "defensive" in every paragraph doesn't means I was defensive. I know pretty much everything about Ultraman.
Everything I've said is 100% factual, and certainly did not low-ball your beloved Superman in the slightest. And neither did I do that to Ultraman. We both know Ultraman had way low feats than getting knocked out by superman, don't we?
