Yes. Like I said to abhi, the Eternia-verse is part of DC's greater omniverse-- it's the "center of all creation", in fact:
http://www.turboimagehost.com/p/16861826/9540314.jpg.htmlThat's the thing, though: he was far more than just "a match" for Superman this time.
However, Superman is still weak to magic in the DCnU. This is important because Eternia and its inhabitants are more or less composed entirely of magic... So there's that. /shrug
Looks like Adam had the advantage throughout the fight until the last scene.

That's so adorable! Thor saving the lives of the unfortunate alien race who are defenseless. The aliens on the planet that Sentry trapped Thor on look like they may be friendlies, so they can quite possibly assist thor in returning back to earth, but I am most likely over thinking this.
Thor's trapped? How is that even possible?

Sadly, I think DC is going to have Ultra man defeat more bad guys on his own in this short period of time than they have let Supes since they started the nu52
The dude has limited sunlight coming through to weaken him and has been sniffing large quantities of kryptonite, both of which serve to make him uber powerful. Essentially it's like Superman receiving small quantities of unfiltered yellow sunlight injections or some such. He should kick some ass.
Galan by the looks of your Sig you appear to be an ultraman fan. Ill admit I know he isn't a new character, but I was not too familiar with him. Initially seeing him at the end of Trinity Wars I said "Great another superman clone that literally looks just like him." But after I read Forever Evil 1 for some reason I became a closet fan of the guy. I can't quite put my finger on why. Most likely because he is the polar opposite to kal and is willing to do what ever it takes to accomplish his task. This is the reason I like Hyperion as well. Supposedly Ultraman becomes more powerful by consuming the remnants of kryptonite that has been destroyed correct? Also obviously Ultraman won't be around much longer after this event, so what are you expecting or looking forward from him while he is still present?
He's been doing fine in feats, but he hasn't actually physically beaten anyone around his level in a long time, if at all. I might be forgetting someone, but who has he beaten that is around his league? I'm just saying I wish DC would stop with the lip service and actually show us why he's considered to be so tough. The lip service seems hollow when he keeps losing fights or comes out looking worse than his opponent (Orion fight).

Tbh, I'm hoping to see some Superboy Prime-esque ownage from him-- similar to how he was portrayed during the Silver Age in that respect. I also hope that when he's beaten, it takes multiple heroes(not just Superman) to do so... Either that, or he's beaten by weakness exploitation and/or plot-devicey tech, because none of the heroes can defeat him one-on-one.
