Cool but that was a little anticlimactic especially considering they made such a big deal about Cap leaving the illuminati over the wmds.

Not rehashing at all. SMH.

It's called an "homage". It's the only thing Hickman did right this entire event.

But you are right though, this event blew chunks. Fear Itself was more entertaining (and that was utter sh|t so.....).

Ok let's move on with something more important than Infinity 06, somebody read the new Archie comic? Incredible I'm telling you.

Yeah... anti climatic...

But anyway, the Illuminati have Thanos in their basement now and seem to be planning something. I see a Hickman anti villain Thanos in the future.

And then I see Thanos being used to defeat his son in the future.

This event man... I thought this issue might sway me more in favor towards the event, but it's just average. And everyone (on their own mind you) called Thane ending it too.
Meh.

Yeah and Thanos fighting Thor/Hulk instead of Thor/Thing was a homage too, amirite?

Hey, it's Hickman and I agreed with you that the event was craptacular.

This actually puts the whole Black Bolt thing in perspective. Black Bolt did real damage to Thanos. Thor's best did NOTHING and Thanos just stood there and took it.

I have new respect for Black Bolt, I'll tell you that.

Just be careful trying to split hairs. Both were no-sells. Trying to extrapolate too much from single feats is bad enough as it is, more so when they're so similar. I personally don't think it says much about any of the characters that we didn't know already.

How can you look at both those encounters and not say Black Bolt actually did a better job (though doomed to fail anyway)?

Thor literally did nothing, didn't even singe Thanos' clothing. Black Bolt drew blood.

We pretty much knew he would we just didnt know how. Thats what bothers me. It kinda just happened.

Is there not an Infinity thread in which you guys can discuss Infinity?

Is this still Forever Evil? So Supes is fine again?

The logical answer is that Forever Evil is taking place at a different point in time-- this isn't uncommon in comics.

You'd make DC proud.

Look at this "ownage"

see that explosion and the surrounding? That's NY, see the guy getting right up after that? That's the Superior Spider-Man.

Also take a look at Otto's nice Pokemon collection.

Oh shit, forgot all about the Starbrand. Magnificent wasn't he? All the power of a mid-level herald ... So very impressive.
