Yeah, he draws blood from Thor with a single punch, and at the end when Thor says he's done holding back, Ock hits him in the neck with Captain America's shield. Then Thor drops to his knees, and Ock brags about being his superior mentally and physically.
Pretty terrible. Venom Spider-Man hurting Thor with a shield to the neck or drawing blood isn't itself mind numbingly horrible, it's how utterly useless Thor is in the actual fight. You could substitute him for the Shocker, and nothing would change.
Too bad Hulk and Hyperion aren't there. Would have made it less...embarrassing. Thor being such a mainstay on the Avengers is starting to be a drawback because he's automatically included in scenarios that a writer would in the past write him out off, hence AvX or this shit.
That's what pisses me off about the Superior Spider-Man Team Ups, they're not Team Ups, they're Otto making the other character look bad. It's sad that I am glad it wasn't worse, looking at how Namor was treated....
