Thor knows his place.

Yup, a small god of a small world indeed.

That's actually not a bad list all things considered.

Although I'd trade the places of Surfer and Pluto. Those two don't really make much sense to me.

Not really. Pluto is sort of a chump, especially outside of his realm.

What really worries me is where the Midgard Serpent is placed. I mean, he's nowhere NEAR Ymir or Surtur or Ego (nevermind Galactus) in terms of anything.

Everything else seems fine.

You think surfer is STRONGER than Thor and Hulk?

argh

To be fair it was Gruenwald who had a very high opinion of Surfer but still.

Nah, just saying that it bothered me less than placing the Midgard Serpent so high.

I'd personally place Surfer in with Thor and Hulk and crew (which is where the Midgard Serpent belongs, he's not above high herald). Pluto belongs there too. So he's not out of place.

But Midgard Serpent up there with Ymir and Surtur and Galactus? That's crazy talk. Gruenwald must have confused him with someone else.

I don't get this

Not only is Thor a guardian of earth

He is also the heir to one if the most powerful thrones in the galaxy/universe (?)

Yet Superman is also a named guardian, but what else does he have?

A shrunken city and an asteroid field somewhere in the depths off space?

It's Thor envy

"Small god of a small world."

The only 'ownage' delivered unto Thor was from the uninspired writers. It was a fixed fight right from the very conception of the idea. Don't pretend otherwise.

Both Kurt Busiek and Tom Brevoort have denied so countless times. To think it was some conspiracy and marvel somehow let Thor lose to Superman is lulzworthy. Thor lost and it was decided by both companies. Its just that marvel fanboys can't accept it even 11 years later. I'd ask you to provide a single proof that it was rigged outside "Thor lost to superman and I don't like it." but I know that no such proof exists.

Superman's brand value shits on Thor. Its not even a contest, why would any Superman fan envy Thor?
