I agree I love the costume and cape design. Great proportions and a classic royal esque look complimented with a modern take. My only nitpick is to slightly make adjustments to his hairstyle, it is nice, but it makes him look a bit too young. It can be styled but shorten it to give him a more experienced dictator/leader look. Besides that well done.

Not trolling. I just don't see it as a "direct" tanking. I think you want this feat so bad that you can taste it. Which is OK....your a big time Spiderman fan. But I don't see it that way. The shockwaves yeah but the point blank. It does not seem to portray it that way.

Meh, those rough draft renders are always misleading anyway. I remember when the early solicits featuring DCnU Orion were first released--they made him look absolutely terrible. The finished product, however, actually looked pretty cool. So yeah.
FTR, I don't think Zod's costume change looks bad at all, though.

You say it as if you are right but you are not entirely being accurate toward the depiction of the scans. I think you want a feat so badly that your bias is getting in the way a bit. Is all. I'm just honestly shocked by your desperate attempt to make it a direct tanking of a hit.
