Before getting off the ship to confront Sun God and the crew he was talking about a device that he use to limit his powers when becoming the Hulk along with an injection that he takes as well (which is the reason he wasn't green when he fought sun god but yet his eyes was). Before injecting himself with it he told Beast that he learned how to create this by his other counterpart that was BRAIN DAMAGED. 616 Banner/Hulk was brain damaged.

The brain damaged counterpart he was referring to was the alternate Hulk. He was the one who was originally implanted with the mind control device by the evil Avengers as he explained to Banner in his box.
In the Avengers and New Avengers title, Hulk was never brain damaged as we saw with his talk with Tony etc.
And the device was not about limiting his power, it was about controlling the monster with electric signals to the brain or whatever.
Seriously, the narrative is so easy to follow that there should be no confusion.
Just take the L Carver and accept Hulk got beat up. Shit happens. Making stuff up just makes you look like a green Abhilegend.

You can debate if this is the true Hulk or not but debating him being at his Prime when he injected himself with a controlling serum that would revert him back to Banner if he is greened out will not help you here.

It's not at all debatable. Unless English is not your first language, there shouldn't even be any confusion.
Why is a serum that allows Banner to force a Hulk transformation relevant here? The serum doesn't weaken him, it allows him to trigger a transformation. That wasn't the case here, the Sun God just knocked him the hell out.

You're saying the serum is in play, weakening him while he's Hulk. That's not what it does. It controls his rage by stimulating parts of the brain, forcing a transformation, it has no effect on Hulk's physical strength when he's Hulking out.
That doesn't even take into account that Banner said he'd use it sparingly and we saw that Hulk was fighting the Sun God while being pissed off.

Banner clearly states that if he greens out (which he does when he is in a rage) the Serum will transform him back to Banner. It.cant.get.any.clearer.than.this.
Never said Sun god didn't beat him, said that Hulk wasn't green because if he was, we already know what would have happened.

Do you understand that the serum is not a constant, it only works if the Illuminati thinks it needs use? It is something that needs to activated.
That's why he went crazy on the Superman clone and he didn't transform back.
At least you stopped pretending it was weakening Hulk's physical strength or something.
