Doom/Wanda:

Wonderstar:

Batman kind of reminds me a bit of Stark, what with all of the uber armor he has now. I find it kind of silly that he has armor that can take on the Justice League, but he still has trouble with his rogues and regular criminals. Why not use an armor all the time? Wouldn't that make his job so much easier, and in turn save lives because he could put criminals away quicker and easier? Does it make Batman kind of an irresponsible jerk because he doesn't use armor he clearly has access to?

I mean, I know he broke the bank for his justice league armor, but he doesn't need one to that scale for his regular activities. He could use one that isn't quite as uber, but still MUCH more effective than just going in Kevlar.

There's a deep, complex pshychological answer to that: the sales would drop.

This story feels like although the writing has an agenda its not brave enough to follow through with it. They wanna show the desperation of the heroes with the incursions coming along but they don't want consequences for the characters which is why the stupid personality altering event took place. That way once its over you can absolve the characters of their behavior like it never happened (except for namor)

Except the Axis event hasn't been a part of the Incursion storyline, yet. The heroes have already made very questionable choices without the Inversion excuse so I don't think Hickman's afraid of anything.

Yeah, I know Reflasssh, but the easy answer is to not make Batman do stupid things like take on the Justice League with Ultra armor. The appeal of Batman is the street level stuff he gets into. Taking on crime bosses and bad guys of that nature. When comics pander to the "Batman can take on anyone because he's BATMAN!!!!11" crowd, the character suffers for it. It takes away from the appeal of the character and any kind of believability in his struggles with his rogues and regular criminals. There is nothing wrong with asking for a little internal consistency.

Tony is already wearing his new after axis outfit so Im assuming his personality is different by this point.

Thats really bad if AXIS affects Hickman storyline...
