Yes, but it may not be what you think. If a black hole the size of, say, a peach was in the room with you, you wouldn't be sucked into it. And depending on how accurately or crazily the author wants to paint it in light of actual physics, that feat could be anything from low meta to high herald.

He anticipated where NCer would be on that blow. He even says that. It wasn't reaction, it was luck and the inevitability of probability. Eventually even you and I would smack NCer, given enough "BAMPH"s to guess at, though obviously with less force.
