Tbh emporerpants, it's better to have him beat people he normally couldn't with an armor than beat them because "HES' DA GODDAM BATMAN" like in the morrison era 😬

I waited months for battlebeast vs thragg and all we got was one ****ing page.

Yeah, the armor is a better excuse, but it's still an excuse. It would be far better if Bats just wasn't beating people he has no business being up against. But, due to Bat's popularity, that will never happen. I guess it's kinda the same way with Captain America and Wolverine. However, I've never seen Cap straight up beat all the Avengers on his own. I'd say that Bat's might currently have the best jobber aura in comics. I could be wrong though.

I rather see the prepper side of him, but well, this is the path they're taking right now with the character, it is what it is.

Also, I wouldn't doubt if the whole battlesuit thing is at least partly because that is the route they are going in the new movie, and they want to build up hype for the movie.
