Adopted BS is controversial indeed, but... every character needs that in a while. Spider-Man and Clone Saga. Wolverine and Romulus shit. Odin revealed to be nothing more than a usurper and a rapist.

Yeah Arno got a huge suit(which he built himself iirc) I just don't see any reason to muck with a character's established past. And in the case of Tony, it really added nothing to his mythos and I'm still not even really sure why they did it.

I don't like it either. Fraction's Mandarin retcon was bad, too... I mean, the comic was enjoyable, decent read, but... retconning a descendant of Genghis Khan into a son of a junkie whore was pretty disrespectful.

Add the Flintstones to getting a reboot...

I'd laugh my ass off if bendis just went full retard and killed off someone completely unrelated (like forbush man) and that's what starts the civil war.
