looks interesting but I've never heard of it. What's it about?

ED BRUBAKER: KILL OR BE KILLED is our take on the vigilante killer genre, which I hope means it's not what people usually expect when they think of that genre. It's NOT about a guy whose parents--or wife and kids--are killed by the mob and now he's out for revenge. No, it's not about a hero, even, really...it's about a (mostly) average guy who is suddenly thrust into a situation he can barely understand--where for reasons I don't want to spoil, he is forced to kill bad people. Forced to become judge and executioner. And the series is about how he adapts to this secret dilemma, and how he learns to become a killer and survive.

But more than that, it's also, you know: "If you had to kill a bad person, who would you pick?" Like, is there someone whose death would have a real impact on society for the better? How hard is it to find someone who truly deserves to die? And what does killing people do to you, mentally and physically? Can you hide this side of yourself from your friends and loved ones?

KOBK is only 5 issues in, but it has been great so far. It is just a very gritty, yet oddly complex, 'shoot-em-up' story. Recommend. 👆

3 people lie to me and tell me this was Shuma.

Black Krrsantan is the f*cking Rambo of Wookiees. 👆

It was good to see Pepper Potts return in this latest issue of Iron man.

So from this we have a few interesting things, namely that for some reason the Tribunal appeared to be in it's "Infancy" to use the phrase and thereby (weakened?)

And Chaos, Order and the Inbetweener have transformed into something vaguely resembling Kali. [/B]

I'm not sure the intention is actually that the intention is actually that the Tribunal was actually "weakened" so to speak. People are always wondering how one omnipotent being can actually be "greater" than another, and I think the disolution of the hierarchy is actually a reflection of that notion. The ranking of the cosmic beings seems to be an agreed upon format(probably from keeping the whole thing from collapsing in upon itself) and when they stop catering to that format, infinity=infinity across the board. To me it seems less like the Tribunal being weakened than it does that Order and Chaos are refusing to limit themselves to roles under his authority. This may even have been the exact kind of thing Thanos promised TOAA when he talked about the chance to see something truely new and unique. I wouldn't be suprised if some other "lesser" abstract like Sire Hate or Eon came along and wasted the newly merged Order/Chaos/Inbetweener before this whole thing is done because it seems that EVERYTHING is up for grabs among the cosmic beings. In the end, Galactus will prob have to go back to his original role because the system only works if EVERYONE agrees to it. Him refusing his place caused Order and Chaos to refuse their place so now everything is going to turn into one giant clusterf*ck until everyone goes back to doing what they're supposed to do as originally laid out by TOAA.

Yup, it's a power grab. Think it, be it before someone else.

Having said that, I am not sure we haven't seen the last of the LT. The merged entity at the end looks worthy of being the new supreme being.

Yeah I definitely was reminded of the old 'levels of infinity' thing from that Kosmos/Kubik cosmic tour comic from way back.

The dissolution of the hierarchy just means that these infinite powers are no longer bound in terms of how they relate to each other.

And then I guess Molecule Man is just above and beyond it all as he's not a 'natural' cosmic entity so the hierarchy never applied to him.

That was such a Superman thing to do.

Benes's art seems to have actually gotten worse over the years. Shame.

Yeah I actually like this new entities look. Kind of hope it sticks around

You would. srsly

Wait. Is the LT dead again? And isn't this supposed to be Warlock LT? Isnt he supposed to be stronger than the old LT?

That wasn't the Warlock LT, he looks different. Perhaps Warlock LT will be the successor/replacement for the now-dead LT.

Yea, LB Galactus was scared shitless of Owen so the current rankings seem to be

Molecule Man >>>> LB Galactus = Chaos&Order >> LT.
