I get the feeling that we're going to see Superman be Superman and have some really good feats. In the Injustice scans, he Got serious and Knocked out Doomsday like nothing. May not be mainstream superman but they are portraying him like his iconic self.

There's also a degree to which Mxy being unprepared at all for it would affect him.

But yeah, Mxy is vastly superior to the Quintessence (as evidenced by Emperor Joker), and Gog's power is derived from the Quintessence.
