Character Ownage

On another note, I just went back and reread the 'Superman Reborn' arc, and I can't help but think the merger of Superman(and his continuities) is what Mxy intended all along.

After all, Mxy was pissed that Superman didn't come and rescue him after Mr. Oz's failed kidnapping --he thought Supes had forgotten about him-- so he set out to make things how they were in the 'old days'. I mean, Mxy's previous encounters with Supes(both pre-Crisis AND pre-Flashpoint) were shown to be some of his all time favorite memories... And what better way to get Supes to remember those 'games' than to merge said continuities..?

Why else would Mxy specifically take Jon to a place where he could access/manipulate both iterations of Superman? Mxy didn't necessarily seem surprised at what Jon did, after all, and there's no f*cking way he didn't know the 'Superman-orbs' were there.

I think it was all part of Mxy's plan, tbh.... His greatest game with Supes yet.

Batman should be fused with his pre-reboot version, too.

His pre-reboot version is the Presence, right ? \o/

Can someone post what was said to Thor that made him unworthy.

Yeah...looking at that again, it's pretty stupid. So Thor doubt's the purpose of the gods, and Mjolnir responds by not letting him hold it anymore lol?

That'll teach Thor to make an arguably true statement, or to feel differently about anything.

"Comics would be better off without us"

Other than Hercules no other god gives af about mortal men. That's there thing. That whisper was bullshit

Marvel fans are so easy to please. If that's a trans level feat, Superman must be eternity level going by AC 976 seeing how his merger caused two realities to merge.
The funny thing is that you just said Superman merged realities like it's average stuff.

As someone who's not really checking on comics at all that sounds like a humongous turn off cause of how ridiculous that sounds. Is there a short synopsis of that available? This isn't a I hate Superman thing, just general curiosity. Last time I checked he was doing a solar flare

Yeah, Mjlonir, since its confirmed to be sentient, is the one that comes off looking bad.

Thor being introspective and self-criticizing? That b-tch ass mallet is all LOSE MY NUMBER.

Then Tumblonir gets all YOU GO GURRLLLL with Jane.

Not sure if Scot posted anything from The Ultimates, so...

Also, why are Thanos and Hela sucking face?

That is bizarre.

Its a setup for the upcoming Thor movie. It seem the films are treating Hela as Death itself.

So, I guess Mxy is scared of the big bad?

He doesn’t offer any more hints about this mysterious entity’s identity, so it’s unclear if he’s talking about Mr. Oz or another party, but whoever it is, Mxy is clearly desperately afraid of him — a fact that’s as concerning as it is interesting, given Mxy’s continuous meta-commentary on the very nature of the DC Universe from a perspective that feels almost editorial in nature.

Haven't read the issue yet.

Thanks.

That was such a weak and stupid reason. This means that whenever Thor doubt himself, or criticize himself, then he becomes unworthy.

Oz will be Alexander Luthor Jr.

Save this post.

@ Philo:

I already said it COULD be him. 😛

Alex was uber AF in Infinite Crisis. If it turns out to be him, he'd be up there with the super genius elites.

Umm...thats a kinda shit feat for all those top tiers. All of them combined are only worth 210 nukes?

And only 40 nukes a piece?
