He turned 70 this year, in fact. 👆

Unlike most characters, Dredd ages in real time -- he's been a Judge for 40 years, ffs... Mind you, this is a future where an average citizen can live to be 135+ years old, so Dredd's still got a lot of law-enforcing left in him. 😉

He is better written in a mini-series.

I've had a lot of fun reading him when he has his own rules and do silly things but he doesn't suit well as a side character for the JLA.

Batman temporarily beat him fair and square but it is unlikely to permanently get rid of Lobo.
